Next, explore the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, built in the 11th century and renowned for its spiritual significance and stunning architecture. Return to Tbilisi and begin a walking city tour of the historic Old Town, which includes visits to Metekhi Church, Narikala Fortress, the famous Sulfur Baths, Chardin Street, and the Peace Bridge. Following breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel by 10:00 AM for a 2-hour drive to Kakheti, Georgia’s renowned wine region. You’ll enjoy an optional wine tasting session and witness traditional Georgian bread baking. Visit Sighnaghi, also known as the City of Love, which is famous for its 18th-century architecture and stunning views of the Alazani Valley. Later, head to the Monastery of St. Nino in Bodbe, a major pilgrimage site that holds the tomb of St. Nino, who introduced Christianity to Georgia in the 4th century.
