Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Gangtok - Explore Local Markets

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be picked up by our representative and transferred to the hotel in Gangtok.
Check in at your hotel and enjoy a leisurely evening.
Explore the beautiful and quaint hill town, which is dotted with charming monasteries and breathtaking landscapes.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir Excursion

After breakfast in the early morning, start the day with the Tsomgo/Changu Lake and Baba Mandir excursion.
Tsomgo Lake is known for its calm, serene waters and picturesque beauty; it is one of the holy lakes of the region.
A temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside.
Primula flowers and other alpine plants enhance the immaculate beauty of this location.
The lake is full of snow and remains frozen until April.
Note: The Nathula permit is not included in the package as it is an optional sightseeing activity. It can be arranged on a direct payment basis.

Day 3 Gangtok Full-Day Sightseeing

After breakfast in the morning, start the day with a full day of local sightseeing.
Visit the following attractions:
- Ganesh Tok
- Hanuman Tok
- Tashi Viewpoint
- Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (closed on Sundays)
- Flower Show
- Do Drul Chorten Monastery
- Namgyal Institute of Tibetology
- Ropeway
- Bhaktam Waterfalls
After sightseeing, return to the hotel. The rest of the day is free.
In the evening, feel free to stroll around MG Road or the local market.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 4 Depart from Gangtok - Tour Ends

After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
Transfer to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station to catch your onward flight or train back home.

Awesome arrangement. Specially hotel provided us during this journey really very good. Agents (Sujoy Das) is very good and polite and helpful during this journey. I m totally satisfied with the overall arrangement. I had great experience during this journey. No hazard I have to face during my tour to darjeeling. My journey date was 25/07/2025 and ended up 29/07/2025.

Braved through the Darjeeling rains and was able to see a number of tourist spots. All thanks to our cab driver who was determined to show us almost all possible tourist spots in a single day. The Gangtok trip left us wanting for more. Had a wonderful time sightseeing but couldn't complete the same in just 2 days. Hotel Mandala Darjeeling was not upto the standard. They lacked in so many aspects for a professional hotelier, making the customers wait. Breakfast was not ready, hotel boys were not available to help carry the luggage. Hope they read this review and improvise on these lines.
