Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Auckland
  • On arrival, seat in coach guests will be met and privately transferred to the hotel.
  • Self-drive guests will collect a rental car and drive to the hotel.
  • After check-in at the hotel, spend your time at leisure if time permits.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed south through the Waikato region to arrive at Waitomo for a guided tour of the glowworm caves with their weird and wonderful limestone formations.
  • Enjoy a magical boat ride under thousands of twinkling glowworms.
  • Afterwards, continue to Rotorua while stopping at the Hobbiton Movie Set for a fun guided tour of this famous movie set.
  • In Rotorua, check-in at the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Te Puia Thermal Reserve where you can witness dramatic geysers, and bubbling mud pools and watch and interact with traditional Maori craftsmen.

  • Also, Dunedin has beautiful beaches and amazing surfing and swimming spots as well. St Clairs beach is a fantastic surfing spot, while Aramoana, Karitane and Brighton beach.
  • If you fancy some cycling and hiking, Dunedin has plenty to offer as well. City cycling and mountain cycling trails and even hiking trails can offer some breathtaking experiences.

  • Here enjoy a snowy hike to the valley and enjoy mesmerising views from the top of the valley.
