Day 1 Arrival - Pinnawala - Kandy
- Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, meet and be assisted by our representative in Sri Lanka, and proceed to Kandy via Pinnawala.
- Optional: Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
- The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is situated northwest of the town of Kegalle, halfway between the present capital Colombo and the ancient royal residence Kandy. It was established in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Wildlife Department on a 25-acre coconut property adjoining the Maha Oya River. The orphanage was originally founded to provide care and protection to the many orphaned elephants found in the jungles of Sri Lanka.

They accepted special request on arranging the Bday celebration of my wife. Arrangements were as per request.
Everything was great experience.
Kandy resort care taker was good. As he sont know the language, food in kandy ho (Read More)tel was not.
Nothing to do with Oclave, but suggestion is pick the hotel considering the quality of food as well.

It was a great trip with our beloved driver Mr Ismath, more than a driver he’s had taken care of us in our meal preference, choice of spots we like etc.
