Day 1 Bagdogra to Phuentsholing, Night Stay at Phuentsholing

Arrive at Bagdogra / NJP and proceed towards Phuentsholing. Experience crossing the Indo-Bhutan border on foot. Check in to your hotel, freshen up, and explore the locality. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for immigration. Enjoy the scenic journey to Thimphu, passing through Chukha Waterfall and Chuzom Bridge. Arrive in Thimphu by evening and check in to your hotel. Leisure time in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Thimphu.

After breakfast drive to Punakha. Visit Dochula-Pass: (3150 mts.) beautiful mountains pass, which is a concentration of 108 memorial stupas. Punakha Dzong - is second oldest dzong in Bhutan. Until the mid- 1950s it served as the capital and seat of government. Punakha Suspension Bridge: It is one of the longest and oldest suspension bridges in Bhutan.After the Punakha sightseeing come back to your hotel in Thimphu. Dinner and overnight stay in Thimphu.

After breakfast, visit local attractions in Thimphu including Buddha Dordenma Statue, National Memorial Chorten, Takin Zoo, and Simply Bhutan Museum. Arrive in Paro by evening and check in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Paro.

After breakfast, proceed to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, also known as Paro Taktsang, is a sacred Buddhist temple and monastery.The hike to Tiger’s Nest is an easy to moderate one. You’ll be able to do it if you have at least an average level of Fitness. For people who cannot make the climb, there are horses available for hire at the starting point.After the hike you can enjoy hot stone bath at countryside. Overnight stay in Paro.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Phuentsholing. Enjoy the scenic landscapes of Bhutan along the way. Upon arrival, complete the exit formalities at the immigration checkpoint and cross over to India.Continue your journey to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying with you wonderful memories of Bhutan.

The guides and drivers were very cooperative, polite and helpful. Their behaviour was really nice, and they were always there whenever we needed any help or information. Overall, the whole trip was very smooth and comfortable. Bhutan is such a beautiful and peaceful place, and the arrangements made our experience even better. We had a wonderful experience with the Chamling Holidays during our Bhutan trip. (Read More) The arrangements were well managed, the hotels and transportation were comfortable, and the overall coordination was smooth. Overall, we enjoyed the trip and appreciate the effort put into making our Bhutan experience memorable. With a slightly more flexible itinerary and better pricing, the experience could be even better.
A few suggestions for improvement: the package price could be a little more reas (Read More)onable, considering there are several additional expenses during the trip. The itinerary was also quite tight, so we sometimes felt rushed. It would have been great to have at least one relaxed day in the city, especially for shopping and exploring at our own pace.

The hotel in Paro for the last day was only thing which could have been better, (Read More)the room was too small and there was no proper ventilation. Thimpu hotel was decent, but could be better. But overall, other than Paro hotel, everything was good.
