- On arrival at Port Blair airport, our representative will receive you and escort you to the hotel.
- After check-in at the hotel and a little relaxation, proceed to the Cellular Jail Light and Sound Show in the evening.
- CELLULAR JAIL: The Cellular Jail, declared a National Memorial, is located in Port Blair. It stands as a mute witness to the brutal atrocities meted out to national freedom fighters who were incarcerated here. Completed in 1906, the jail acquired the name 'Cellular' because it was entirely made up of individual cells for solitary confinement. Originally, it was a seven-block structure with three stories and a central tower acting as its fulcrum, comprising honeycomb-like corridors. This jail, now a place of pilgrimage for all freedom-loving people, draws visitors down memory lane to the years of the freedom struggle. The Jail Museum is open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon and from 1:30 PM to 4:45 PM.
- LIGHT AND SOUND SHOW: The Light and Sound show at the Cellular Jail narrates the saga of the Indian freedom struggle, brought to life through sound and light effects that depict the brutal atrocities faced by freedom fighters deported to these islands and incarcerated in the small cells of this jail. - Laxmanpur Beach: Laxmanpur Beach is a scenic waterfront that covers a long stretch of Laxmanpur village on Neil Island. The sea is shallow and calm, making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The serene beach offers a stunning panorama, especially during sunset.
- Natural Bridge: Neil Island is famous for its naturally shaped rock formation known as the Howrah Bridge. It features two living natural corals that resemble a bridge. The rock formation was named by the Bengalis who settled on the island in its early days; they referred to it as Rabindra Setu before it was later called the Howrah Bridge. It is best viewed during low tide.
