- Welcome to Awesome Assam.
- Meet and be assisted by our representative at the airport or railway station.
- Proceed to Shillong, also known as the "Scotland of the East."
- Reach the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani).
- Optional water sports are available at Umiam Lake.
- Upon arrival in Shillong, check in at your hotel.
- Overnight stay in Shillong.
- Morning after breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Mawlynnong.
- Mawlynnong Village has earned the distinction of being the cleanest village in India and is situated 90 km from Shillong.
- Dawki is located 2 km from Bangladesh and is a small village known for the Umngot River, which marks the natural separation between the Khasi and Jaintia Hills.
- Overnight stay in Shillong.
- After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. On the way, enjoy the following places:
- Shillong Peak
- Elephanta Falls
- Mawsmai Cave
- Nohkalikai Falls
- Seven Sister Waterfalls
- Return to Shillong for an overnight stay.
- After breakfast, transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the One-Horned Rhinoceros.
- Check in at your hotel.
- The evening is free for leisure.
- Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
- Early morning, explore the Western Zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of an elephant.
- Apart from the world's endangered One-horned Rhinoceros, the park sustains half the world's population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1,000 Wild Elephants, and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tigers anywhere.
- Kaziranga is also a birdwatcher's paradise and is home to approximately 500 species of birds.
- Some of the species found here include the Crested Serpent Eagle, Pallas Fishing Eagle, Grey-headed Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed Goose, Whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons, and Pelicans.
- We will return to the resort for breakfast.
- In the afternoon, go for a jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park.
- In the evening, return to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
- Note: Cost for elephant and jeep safari not included.
- After breakfast, drive to Guwahati.
- Check in at the hotel.
- Guwahati, known as 'The Light of the East', is the commercial capital of Northeast India, located adjacent to the shores of the turbulent Brahmaputra River.
- In the evening, enjoy a river cruise on the Brahmaputra River (cruise charges are additional).
- Overnight stay in Guwahati.
- NOTE: The river cruise is subject to availability, water levels, and river conditions.
- After breakfast, drive to Guwahati Airport/Station. If time permits, visit Kamakhya Temple.
- The temple doors remain open for devotees during the following hours: 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM and 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM.
