Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati Airport / Rly Station – Shillong (100 kms / 03 hrs)

Welcome to Awesome Assam.
Meet and be assisted by our representative at the airport or railway station.
Proceed to Shillong, also known as the "Scotland of the East."
Reach the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani).
Optional water sports are available at Umiam Lake.
Upon arrival in Shillong, check in at your hotel.
Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2 Shillong - Mawlynnong - Dawki – Shillong

Morning after breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Mawlynnong.
Mawlynnong Village has earned the distinction of being the cleanest village in India and is situated 90 km from Shillong.
Dawki is located 2 km from Bangladesh and is a small village known for the Umngot River, which marks the natural separation between the Khasi and Jaintia Hills.
Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3 Cherrapunjee Excursion

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. On the way, enjoy the following places:
Shillong Peak
Elephanta Falls
Mawsmai Cave
Nohkalikai Falls
Seven Sister Waterfalls
Return to Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 4 Shillong – Kaziranga (253 kms / 5hrs )

After breakfast, transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the One-Horned Rhinoceros.
Check in at your hotel.
The evening is free for leisure.
Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 5 Kaziranga (Safaris will be an additional charge)

Early morning, explore the Western Zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of an elephant.
Apart from the world's endangered One-horned Rhinoceros, the park sustains half the world's population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1,000 Wild Elephants, and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tigers anywhere.
Kaziranga is also a birdwatcher's paradise and is home to approximately 500 species of birds.
Some of the species found here include the Crested Serpent Eagle, Pallas Fishing Eagle, Grey-headed Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed Goose, Whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons, and Pelicans.
We will return to the resort for breakfast.
In the afternoon, go for a jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park.
In the evening, return to the hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Note: Cost for elephant and jeep safari not included.

Day 6 Kaziranga - Guwahati (150KMs/ 5hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Guwahati.
Check in at the hotel.
Guwahati, known as 'The Light of the East', is the commercial capital of Northeast India, located adjacent to the shores of the turbulent Brahmaputra River.
In the evening, enjoy a river cruise on the Brahmaputra River (cruise charges are additional).
Overnight stay in Guwahati.

NOTE: The river cruise is subject to availability, water levels, and river conditions.

Day 7 Departure from Guwahati

After breakfast, drive to Guwahati Airport/Station. If time permits, visit Kamakhya Temple.
The temple doors remain open for devotees during the following hours: 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM and 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Fees: Due to contractual agreements with hotels, transporters, and other third-party vendors, cancellation fees will apply. These are calculated as a percentage of the total tour cost, based on the notice period provided before the tour start date:

30 days prior to departure: 10% of the tour/service cost
15 days prior to departure: 25% of the tour/service cost
7 days prior to departure: 50% of the tour/service cost
No refund if canceled less than 48 hours before departure.

Note: Confirmed bookings canceled on arrival or refusal to check-in will be treated as no-show and will incur retention charges as per hotel policy.
High-Season & Peak Period Bookings: For all bookings during the peak season and festive season (December 20th to January 5th), and for any dates specifically indicated as "non-refundable" or "peak" at the time of booking, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
Cancellation After Tour Commencement: The company is unable to offer any refunds for any unused portions of the tour (including accommodations, meals, sightseeing, transportation, etc.) once the tour has commenced, for any reason whatsoever. The company may, at its sole discretion, attempt to recover amounts from suppliers, but any refund based on such recovery is not guaranteed and will be processed after deducting all administrative costs.

If you need to book a trip to South Jaideep (Kiorra travels) is your man, he simply caters to each and every need that you have and will pick your calls always if you need anything. I have a heart condition and thus had some reservations regarding the trip and food. But Jaideep took care of everything The properties were awesome, the food was specially made according to my needs . The driver Yusuf was soft spoken and he showed us all the spots even those which were not covered in the intenary. It was such a great Trip, Jaideep takes your budget also into account and tells you where to spend more and less according to the trip. I would definitely consider kiorra travels and Jaideep for future trips too
