Detailed Itinerary
- Private airport pick-up from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to your hotel with our driver.
- Your tour driver will be waiting for you at the exit gate of Tan Son Nhat Airport, holding a placard with your flight number and name.
- Check in at the hotel and enjoy free leisure time in the evening.
- Note: You can walk to visit the Ben Thanh Night Market, which is located near your hotel.
- After breakfast at 7:30 AM, the tour guide and sharing bus driver will pick you up from your hotel.
- You will depart for the Mekong Delta.
- After a 2-hour drive, you will arrive in My Tho City.
- Enjoy an overview of floating fish houses by boat.
- Take a motorized boat ride to Con Phung (Phoenix Island) in Ben Tre Province.
- Ben Tre Province is known for its coconuts, and you can purchase handicrafts made from coconut trees.
- Around 12:00 PM, have lunch on the island featuring delicious local dishes.
- After lunch, explore the amazing Mekong canals.
- Enjoy a motorized boat cruise along natural creeks and quiet villages in Ben Tre Province.
- Visit orchards and a bee-keeping house, and enjoy honey tea, seasonal tropical fruits, and traditional music.
- Experience a rowing boat ride along a small mangrove palm creek (known as "dừa nước" in Vietnam).
- Observe the coconut candy production process.
- Around 3:00 PM, board the bus to return to Ho Chi Minh City.
- On the way back, stop by Mekong Rest Stop for a short break.
- Drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
- After breakfast at 8:00 AM, you will depart for the Cu Chi Tunnels.
- Around 9:30 AM, arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels to view a short video and presentation about the tunnels before experiencing the world-renowned site.
- For those interested, there is an opportunity to fire rounds from an AK-47 or MK16 gun at the nearby rifle range.
- Lunch will be at a local restaurant (lunch is arranged by yourselves).
- In the afternoon, start your walking tour around District 1 of the city.
- Begin at the Reunification Palace, the former headquarters of the South Vietnam government before 1975, which is now an interesting museum.
- Contemplate its structure and learn more about the president’s life and the Vietnam-American War.
- Take a short walk to Notre Dame Cathedral Saigon, established in 1880, which attracts not only Catholics but also many tourists for its neo-Romanesque architecture and sacred atmosphere.
- Visit the Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel and built between 1886 and 1891.
- Turn onto Dong Khoi Street, formerly named Rue Catinat, famous from the prominent novel “The Quiet American” by Graham Greene, and take memorable photos in front of the People’s Committee Building.
- Pass by the Bitexco Financial Tower, a glitzy modern skyscraper rising behind a colonial façade.
- Stop at Ben Thanh Market, the busiest market in the city, where you will have time for free shopping.
- The walking tour ends at Ben Thanh Market, and you will return to your hotel.
