Arrive at IXB Airport or NJP Station, where a representative will meet you for the transfer to Darjeeling. The drive takes around 3-4 hours through scenic tea gardens and mountain roads. Check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can take a relaxing stroll through the local markets or along Mall Road to soak in the atmosphere. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Drive to Tiger Hill early in the morning (around 4:00 AM) to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. On the way back, visit the Ghoom Monastery and the scenic Batasia Loop war memorial. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, proceed for a half-day city tour covering the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, and a local tea garden. In the evening, visit the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and take a picturesque 4-hour drive (approx. 110 km) to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. In the evening, explore the vibrant MG Marg (Mall Road) for shopping and local cuisine. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (at 12,400 ft) and the nearby Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple. The lake is considered sacred and remains frozen during winter. If weather permits and you have the necessary permits, you can also visit the Nathu La Pass (India-China border) for an extra cost. Return to your hotel in Gangtok to relax. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After a final breakfast, check out from your hotel. Proceed to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) for your onward journey, taking back wonderful memories of your trip. The drive takes around 4-5 hours.
