Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Srinagar transfer to Kargil
- Sonamarg (2,740 m)
- Zoji La Pass (3,527 m)
- Drass Memorial
- Kargil (2,710 m)
- After pick-up from your hotel or tourist center in Srinagar, begin your scenic drive to Kargil, depending on road-opening timings.
- Journey through the picturesque Sindh Valley, one of Kashmir’s largest tributary valleys, and reach Sonamarg (2,740 m), famously known as the “Meadow of Gold.”
- Continue along the rugged road over Zoji La Pass (3,527 m), the gateway to Ladakh.
- Drive through Drass, the second coldest inhabited place in the world.
- Arrive in Kargil (2,710 m) for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 Kargil to Leh
- Mulbekh Monastery
- Lamayuru Monastery
- Alchi Monastery
- Hall of Fame, Spituk
- Gompa, Patthar Sahib
- Magnetic Hill
- Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers
- After an early breakfast, depart from Kargil for Leh, enjoying a scenic drive through the rugged landscapes of Ladakh.
- En route, visit the Mulbekh Monastery and the ancient Lamayuru Monastery, renowned for its dramatic backdrop and the nearby Moonland formations.
- Cross Namkila and Fatu La Passes, the highest on the Srinagar-Leh route.
- Stop at the 1,000-year-old Alchi Monastery, the only monastery in the region built on flat ground.
- Continue to the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers (Sangam), visit Pathar Sahib Gurdwara, Magnetic Hill, and the Leh Hall of Fame.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Get close to Leh
- Thiksey Monastery
- Perched on a hilltop with breathtaking views of the Indus Valley.
- Features a gigantic Maitreya Buddha statue.
- Home to the Dukhang (assembly hall) with hundreds of silk-bound prayer books.
- Shey Palace
- The former summer palace of the Kings of Ladakh.
- Shanti Stupa
- A white-domed Buddhist monument built in 1991.
- Constructed by Japanese monk Gyomyo Nakamura as part of the Peace Pagoda mission.
- Leh Palace
- Historic palace built around 1600 by Sengge Namgyal.
- Overlooks the town of Leh.
- After a leisurely breakfast, drive to the destinations listed above.
- Conclude the day with an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 Leh ~ Nubra
- Khardungla Pass (5,359 m)
- Hunder, Sand Dunes
- Diskit Monastery
- Drive from Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads at 5,550 meters.
- Enjoy breathtaking mountain views and photo stops en route.
- Visit Diskit village and explore Diskit Monastery, home to the impressive 106-foot Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley.
- Continue to Hunder, famous for its high-altitude sand dunes and rare double-humped Bactrian camels, with an optional camel ride.
- Return to your camp or hotel in Nubra for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5 Nubra - taking you to Turtuk and Thang
- Turtuk Village

- Enjoy a full-day excursion from Nubra to the remote village of Turtuk, one of Ladakh’s most fascinating and recently opened destinations.
- Travel through stunning mountain landscapes and traditional villages in a region that was once part of Baltistan.
- Recaptured by India in 1971, Turtuk offers a unique cultural experience with warm locals, rich history, and scenic beauty.
- After exploring this border village, return to Nubra Valley by evening for an overnight stay at your camp or hotel.
Day 6 Be Calm and reach Pangong
- Destination: Shyok, Pangong Lake (4,225 m)
- After breakfast, depart for Pangong Lake, located at 14,500 feet, via the scenic Shayok route through Tangtse and Spangmik.
- This beautiful shortcut follows the Shayok River, passing charming villages surrounded by barren mountains.
- By afternoon, arrive at Pangong Lake and spend time enjoying its crystal-blue waters and peaceful surroundings.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the camp near Pangong Lake.
Day 7 Back to Leh with day at leisure
- Changla Pass (5,486 m)
- Rise early to witness a breathtaking sunrise at the lake.
- After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass at 5,486 meters.
- Upon arrival, check in at your hotel.
- Spend the evening at leisure, exploring local markets or relaxing.
- Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Day 8 Goodbye Ladakh
- In the morning, transfer to the airport.
- Catch your flight for the onward journey.

I liked the transport facility provided was very good. Driver was very cooperative. Hotels provided were good.
Didn't like the last moment changes in hotel accommodations. I was initially given a hotel near Varkala beach, but later on they changed the hotel and gave 15kms away from Varkala beach ..which spoiled my 31st December night celebration. Me and my family are very disappointed due to this.

The trip was arranged in a beautiful fashion. All the arrangements were good enough. The itinerary was framed excellently. we did not feel any difficulty anywhere during this trip. The Whatsapp group created by the company was of great help that made the things quite easy. Yes the trip was too tight and we could not find time to roam around the markets or old cities. Well we had experience of two (Read More) accommodations, the first at Western Plus Pearl and second at Grand Fortune. Western pearl was excellent in terms of location, cleanliness and service.

Western pearl was excellent in terms of location, cleanliness and service. Grand Fortune was good one but having only three stories with some Bars, Theatres, music clubs like that. It was not a peaceful and calm accommodation. Room size too was (Read More) not as comfortable as in Western Pearl. Shared transportation was not good enough in second trip.
