- Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of the longest suspension bridges in Bhutan.
- Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility), followed by a pleasant walk through traditional villages and paddy fields.
- Lunch at a local restaurant in Punakha.
- Drive back to Thimphu in the evening.

After breakfast, enjoy a full morning sightseeing tour of Bhutan's capital city. Visit:
- Buddha Dordenma
- Memorial Chorten
- Motithang Takin Preserve
- Tashichho Dzong (outside view if open to visitors)
- Simply Bhutan Museum (optional)
- Centenary Farmers' Market (open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays)
After lunch, drive to Paro. Upon arrival in Paro:
- Visit Rinpung Dzong.
- Paro ta Dzong ( National Museum of Bhutan)
