Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Cochin to Munnar

Pick up from Cochin Airport and visit possible sightseeing spots in Cochin such as Lulu Shopping Mall, The Dutch Palace, Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets, Marine Drive, and Fort Cochin Beach. Proceed to Munnar, visiting Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls and tea plantations along the way. Check in at the hotel upon arrival.

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Munnar, visiting Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Pothenmedu View Point, Blossom Park, Kundale Lake, and more. Visit the Tea Museum and enjoy shopping in Munnar town. Overnight stay at Munnar.

After breakfast, transfer to Thekkady, known for its wildlife sanctuary. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a 1.5-hour game viewing cruise around Periyar Lake. Visit Periyar National Park, Periyar River, and Elephant Junction. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Alleppey. Check in at the houseboat around noon and start your cruise through the backwaters. Enjoy the unique experience of cruising along village sides and paddy fields. Dinner and overnight stay at the houseboat.

After breakfast at the houseboat, check out and drive to Cochin Airport/Railway Station for departure.

Tour was well managed and well organised. Driving was very good , driver was p (Read More)olite.. aura Thekkady staff was very helpful but aura Thekkady hotel was not as good as we expected it to be 3 star hotel, cigarette smell all over the corridor area. Houseboat experience was best one. Houseboat staff was good, and very clean room they provided.
1- resort should be on main road as it does not hav good road to spice jungle, (Read More)Spice jungle management in food order and delivery was not good. No bowls provided for curries in breakfast. 2- Driver should at least understand some hindi as it would have been a better experience by communicating. Driver only understood some English so we were not able to talk and communicate properly. 3- On houseboat they only provide limited quantity of fish 🐠 , and for veg no special dish in lunch. Also is you provide photo of houseboat while booking it will be very helpful 4- Also, the entry price of all activities national parks, garden should also be mentionted to plan the trip efficiently

Initially, our houseboat experience was disappointing due to hygiene and cleanliness issues. However, when I contacted Mr. Renjith, the owner, he was very kind and polite. He immediately arranged a new houseboat for us without any unnecessary questions or excuses. Really appreciate how quickly he resolved the issue! All the staff members were also polite and helpful throughout the trip. Overall, everything was well organised, and we had a great time. boat house in alleppey there is no water in toilet from 9 pm to morning 8 am , w (Read More)hich is major draw back for people and there is not much sight seeing place in kochi and alleppey that could be knocked of from tourist place and i havent felt that good in boat house bcz these boat house are running in backwater which is not cleaned one smelly environment and i suggest people to go to kochi for cruise instead of boat house which we wont feel that we are in boat and seeing some good views from boat house better knock off this boat house which totally waste ur one day trip instead of oppoint sight seeing for better feeling that we have covered some good places other than that all good
