En route, have a look from the road to Kempty Fall, The most fascinating and the most significant waterfall. Upon arrival in Barkot, check in at Hotel Barkot. It is a place of great scenic beauty with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains all around & located on the foot of Yamunotri Overnight at hotel.
Yamunotri (Altitude-10,800 FT): is the source of the holy river Yamuna and the seat of the Goddess Yamuna. The Yamunotri Dham is the first hallowed destination of the Chardham Yatra. This Dham is committed to Goddess Yamuna, who is regarded as a daughter of the Sun God (Surya Dev). Upon arrival here, you can take a holy dip in Taptkund (Hot water spring) before entering in the Temple.e Visit Yamunotri Temple & Divyashila. Later, trek down to Jankichatti & drive to Barkot Overnight at the hotel

Continue drive to GANGOTRI & Upon arrival, dip at the sacred river Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Kedarnath(Altitude-11,750 FT): One of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name for Lord Shiva, the protector, and the destroyer. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and, while fleeing, took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed, he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface.
