Day 1 Arrival in Gangtok - Explore Local Markets
  • Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be picked up by our representative and transferred to the hotel in Gangtok.
  • Check in at your hotel and enjoy a leisurely evening.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast in the early morning, start the day with the Tsomgo/Changu Lake and Baba Mandir excursion.
  • Tsomgo Lake features calm, serene waters and picturesque beauty; it is one of the holy lakes of the region.
  • A temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside.
  • Primula flowers and other alpine plants enhance the immaculate beauty of this location.
  • Until April, the lake is covered in snow and remains frozen.
  • Perched at nearly 13,123 ft between the storied passes of Nathula and Jelepla, the Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple—also affectionately known as “Baba Mandir”—is more than a remarkable viewpoint; it's a journey into legend and devotion.
  • Note: The Nathula permit is not included in the package as it is an optional sightseeing option and can be arranged on a direct payment basis.
  • After breakfast in the morning, start the day with a full day of local sightseeing.
  • Visit the following attractions:

    • Hanuman Tok
    • Tashi Viewpoint
    • Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (closed on Sundays)
