Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station to Phuentsholing/Jaigoan

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or the Railway Station (NJP), you will be driven to Phuentsholing.
Check in at the hotel in this offbeat little town located at the Indo-Bhutan border.
Negotiate in the long lines for a tourist permit.
Spend the evening at your leisure.
Overnight stay in Phuentsholing/Jaigoan.

Day 2 Phuentsholing / Jaigoan to Thimphu - Transfer and Local Sightseeing

Travel to Thimphu, the capital and largest city of Bhutan.
Enjoy a scenic drive with views of snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, and streams.
Check in to the hotel.
Visit Buddha Point, semi-developed markets, and the enormous Thimphu Dzong.
Explore the Changlimithang Monasteries, Tashichho Dzong, and the Takin Zoo.
Visit the National Library, Thimphu National Museum, School of Arts & Crafts, Handicrafts & Textile Museum, and Handmade Paper Factory.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3 Thimphu to Paro - Transfer Via Simtokha Dzong

After breakfast, transfer to Paro, visiting Simtokha Dzong en route.
In Paro, visit Ta Dzong, which was inaugurated as Bhutan's national museum in 1968.
Explore Rinpung Dzong, built in 1646.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4 Paro to Phuentsholing / Jaigoan - Thrilling Trek to Tiger’s Nest

After breakfast, embark on a trek to Tiger's Nest.
The ascent is easy and takes about 2 hours for enthusiastic trekkers.
Enjoy the spectacular scenery and legends surrounding this monastery.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 5 Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
Get chauffeured to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or the Railway Station (NJP).
Return with unforgettable memories.
