En route, enjoy sightseeing at some beautiful attractions including Kharbandi Gompa, Gedu Waterfall, and Chukha Dam View Point. Upon arrival in Thimphu, check in to your hotel. In the evening, explore the local craft bazaar or handicrafts emporium for authentic Bhutanese souvenirs.
After breakfast, begin exploring the beautiful valley of Punakha with visits to scenic Dochula Pass. Visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, beautifully situated at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers, followed by a walk across the iconic Punakha Suspension Bridge. Continue to Chimi Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s most revered temples. After sightseeing, return to Thimphu.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Thimphu's cultural and historical attractions: Visit Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world. Explore the sacred National Memorial Chorten. Stop at Motithang Takin Preserve to see Bhutan's national animal. Discover Bhutanese traditions at Simply Bhutan Museum. Learn about rural Bhutanese life at the Folk Heritage Museum. Visit the iconic Tashichho Dzong, a masterpiece of Bhutanese architecture. Later, drive through scenic valleys to Paro. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.
After breakfast, embark on one of Bhutan’s most iconic experiences—a hike to the legendary Taktsang Monastery, famously known as Tiger’s Nest. Perched dramatically on a cliffside about 900 meters above the valley floor, this sacred monastery offers breathtaking views and a deeply spiritual atmosphere. The trek takes approximately 4–5 hours round trip, depending on pace and rest stops. After returning, you may choose to relax with a traditional hot stone bath or visit a local farmhouse to enjoy authentic Bhutanese hospitality and cuisine.
After breakfast, explore the cultural and historical treasures of Paro, including Rinpung Dzong – a magnificent fortress overlooking the Paro River, National Museum of Bhutan – home to Bhutanese art, relics, and historical treasures, and Kyichu Lhakhang – one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples. Drive to Phuentsholing.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station through the scenic roads of North Bengal. Your memorable journey through Bhutan comes to an end with beautiful memories and experiences to cherish forever.
