Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival and Local Sightseeing

Meet our representative at Srinagar airport and transfer to the hotel.
Proceed for a sightseeing tour to the world-famous Mughal gardens: Shalimar, Nishat, and Tulip Gardens (Asia’s biggest tulip garden).
Visit the Botanical Gardens, Chesmashahi, Parimahal, and the famous Hazratbal.
Enjoy views of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Srinagar to Gulmarg (Day Trip)

Depart in the morning for Gulmarg, also known as the "Meadow of Flowers," located 2,730 meters above sea level.
Visit one of the best ski slopes and the 18-hole golf course in Gulmarg.
If weather permits, view Nanga Parbat, the "Naked Mountain," towering over 26,000 feet.
Enjoy a cable car (Gondola) ride up to Khilangmarg (at your own cost).
Return to the hotel in Gulmarg for an overnight stay.

Day 3 Srinagar to Sonmarg (Day Trip)

After breakfast, depart for a day excursion to Sonmarg, also known as the "Golden Meadow."
Explore the Sind Valley, filled with flowers and surrounded by mountains.
Consider horse riding up to Thajiwas Glacier and sledge riding on snow (on direct payment).
Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 Srinagar to Pahalgam (Overnight Stay)

After breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam, known as "The Valley of Shepherds."
En route, visit the saffron fields of Pampore and the Awantipura Ruins (an 1100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu).
Enjoy a scenic drive through the pine forests to reach Pahalgam.
Arrive at Pahalgam and enjoy the Lidder Stream.
Take a walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 5 Pahalgam to Srinagar (Hotel/Houseboat Stay)

After breakfast, depart for Srinagar.

Check-in at your hotel or houseboat in Srinagar.
Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 6 Srinagar Departure for Onward Journey

Transfer to Srinagar airport or bus stand for your onward journey.

Other Details

Prepaid sim cards do not work in J&K due to security reasons, so a postpaid connection is a must.
In Katra, for Pithu, Palki, or Pony services, the Municipal Committee Katra has fixed the rates, which are displayed on the rate card outside their booking office at Banganga. If someone is overcharging above the listed rates, it’s up to you to negotiate as much as possible.
If you are staying at a houseboat in Srinagar, Shikara rides are complimentary, so do not pay for them.
It is not mandatory for guests to take ponies in Gulmarg and Pahalgam to visit all the important tourist spots, as the major attractions are within close proximity and can be walked to. However, if you still wish to take a pony ride, sledge, or raft, the rates are highly negotiable. Please bargain as much as possible.
Sightseeing to Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari in Pahalgam is only accessible by the local taxi union. Due to union restrictions, outside vehicles cannot enter these places. The rates are highly negotiable if you wish to visit these places, and you will need to pay extra directly.
For shopping, recommended items include dry fruits, Rajma, Basmati rice, handicrafts, woolens, carpets, saffron, and cricket bats. In Srinagar, Lal Chowk and Boulevard are the best places for shopping.
For Kashmiri Wazwan food, Aadhoos at Lal Chowk in Srinagar is the best place, and the mutton kebab at Gee Enn Bakers on Residency Road is highly recommended.
For vegetarian food in Srinagar, Krishna Dhaba is the best place.
