Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from Naata Trek and Tours will greet you, holding a sign with your name. You will then be transferred to your designated hotel, where you can check in and unwind. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner hosted by Naata Trek and Tours, offering a delightful introduction to Nepalese cuisine and culture. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, attend a pre-trip meeting where you will be introduced to your trekking guide and can ask any questions about the journey ahead. Begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the world’s largest Buddhist stupas, where you can observe Buddhist monks in prayer. Continue to Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s most significant Hindu temple, located on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River, where you may witness Hindu holy men (sadhus), pilgrims bathing, and traditional funeral rituals. The tour then takes you to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, home to pagoda and shikhara-style temples, the Palace of Fifty-Five Windows, the Lion Gate, the Golden Gate, and various art galleries. After an insightful day, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kathmandu.

An early morning scenic drive takes you to Pokhara, offering breathtaking views of rivers, rolling green hills, and picturesque landscapes. After approximately 6-7 hours, arrive in Pokhara, where you can relax and enjoy a serene sunset by Phewa Lake. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Begin the day with a 3-hour drive to Hile, the starting point of your trek. After a short rest, embark on a trek towards Ulleri, a traditional Magar village. The trek today is relatively short, allowing you to ease into the journey and acclimatize to the terrain. Overnight stay in Ulleri.

The trek from Ulleri starts with a gentle ascent through dense rhododendron forests, leading to Banthanti and Nangethanti, where you can take short breaks. Continuing through oak and rhododendron forests, the trail eventually reaches Ghorepani, a beautiful mountain village offering stunning views. Overnight stay in Ghorepani.

Before dawn, begin an early morning hike to Poon Hill (3210m), one of the most famous viewpoints in Nepal, to witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After spending some time taking in the views, return to Ghorepani for breakfast. Resume trekking along mountain ridges, passing through pine and rhododendron forests, before reaching Deurali and later descending to Tadapani. Overnight stay in Tadapani.

Descend steeply through dense rhododendron forests and pass through Gurjung, a charming Gurung village. Enjoy an easy yet scenic trek before arriving at Chomrong, a gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary. Overnight stay in Chomrong.

Cross Chomrong Khola and ascend towards the Annapurna Conservation Area Checkpost. Walk through bamboo and rhododendron forests, following the trail until reaching Himalaya Hotel, a serene resting spot nestled in the mountains. Overnight stay at Himalaya Hotel.

Continue trekking through Deurali and Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC), which offers breathtaking views of Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Peak). The trek then leads to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) at an elevation of 4,130m, a stunning amphitheater surrounded by towering peaks, including Annapurna I (8091m). Overnight stay at Annapurna Base Camp.

Begin your descent from Annapurna Base Camp, retracing your steps through Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Deurali, Himalaya Hotel, and Doban, before finally reaching Bamboo. The downhill trek is relaxing, and the lush forest scenery makes for a pleasant journey. Overnight stay in Bamboo.

Descend further through bamboo and rhododendron forests before following a steep trail leading to Jhinu. Here, you can enjoy a natural hot spring bath, providing a perfect way to relax after days of trekking. Overnight stay in Jhinu.

On the final trekking day, hike back to Nayapul, where a vehicle will be waiting for a short drive back to Pokhara. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, strolling along the lakeside, shopping, or simply unwinding. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Start an early morning 6-7 hour drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and enjoy a farewell dinner hosted by us. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure, concluding an incredible adventure in the Annapurna Sanctuary.

They were unable to provide us with transportation as they already had prior boo (Read More)kings, so we had to arrange transport through other sources. The resort and hotels were good; however, at the time of booking, they had mentioned that the property in Pokhara would have a swimming pool. In reality, there was no swimming pool, and it was not even a resort but actually a hotel. Nevertheless, the overall stay arrangement was satisfactory.
Except for Siddhartha Riverside, the food at all other hotels and resorts in Nep (Read More)al was not good. They did not even have the basic courtesy to provide drinking water in the room. At the time of check-in, two bottles of water were provided, but the next morning when we asked for a refill, they said refills are only done after 12:00 PM. If we needed water before that, we had to purchase it ourselves. We have traveled extensively around the world, but we have never experienced such dry and unaccommodating behavior anywhere. Refilling drinking water is a very basic courtesy that hotels and resorts should provide.
