Warm welcome on arrival at Coimbatore Airport/Railway Station. Proceed towards Ooty, one of South India’s most loved hill stations surrounded by misty mountains, tea plantations, and eucalyptus forests. Enjoy the scenic drive through beautiful ghats and forest routes. Upon arrival in Ooty, check in to the hotel and relax. Later proceed for local sightseeing:
- Visit the famous Ooty Lake for boating and leisure time amidst scenic surroundings.
- Explore the beautiful Government Botanical Garden known for exotic plants, colorful flower beds, and landscaped gardens.
Spend the evening enjoying the pleasant weather and local markets of Ooty. Overnight stay in Ooty.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour covering the stunning natural attractions around Ooty. Places covered:
- Doddabetta Peak – Highest peak in the Nilgiris offering panoramic valley views.
- Pykara Lake – Beautiful lake surrounded by pine forests and rolling hills.
- Pykara Waterfalls – Scenic cascading waterfalls amidst lush greenery.
- Pine Forest – Famous movie shooting location with tall pine trees.
- Shooting Point – Popular viewpoint with breathtaking landscapes.
- Visit a local Tea Factory and Tea Museum to learn about Nilgiri tea production and enjoy fresh tea tasting.
Return to hotel after sightseeing. Overnight stay in Ooty.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for sightseeing in Coonoor. Enjoy the iconic UNESCO-listed heritage toy train journey from Ooty to Coonoor through tunnels, bridges, tea plantations, and misty valleys. Upon arrival in Coonoor, visit:
- Sim's Park
- Dolphin's Nose
- Lamb's Rock
- Tea Estates & Tea Factory Visit
Later proceed towards Coimbatore for drop-off at Airport/Railway Station with beautiful memories of your Ooty holiday.
