Day 1 Arrival in Gangtok - Explore Local Markets
  • Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Gangtok.
  • Check in at your hotel and enjoy a leisurely evening.
  • Explore the beautiful and quaint hill town, which is adorned with charming monasteries and breathtaking landscapes.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast in the early morning, begin the day with an excursion to Tsomgo/Changu Lake and Baba Mandir.
  • Tsomgo Lake is renowned for its calm, serene waters and picturesque beauty.
  • It is one of the holy lakes in the region, featuring a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva built on the lakeside.
  • Primula flowers and other alpine plants enhance the pristine beauty of this location.
  • The lake is covered in snow and remains frozen until April.
  • Note: The Nathula permit is not included in the package, as it is an optional sightseeing option that can be arranged on a direct payment basis.
  • After breakfast in the morning, start the day with a full day of local sightseeing.
  • Visit the following attractions:
    • Ganesh Tok
    • Hanuman Tok
    • Tashi Viewpoint
    • Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (closed on Sundays)

  • After sightseeing, return to the hotel. The rest of the day is free.
  • In the evening, you are free to stroll around MG Road or the local market.

  • After breakfast, check-out from the hotel. 
  • Drop at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station to catch your onward flight/train back home.

The trip was very well organized and offered great value for money. Anuradha Ma' (Read More)am provided a reasonable package and managed everything professionally. Our driver-cum-guide Chandan was excellent, friendly, punctual, and guided us throughout the trip. The sightseeing, transportation, and overall experience in Sikkim, Gangtok, and Darjeeling were wonderful.
Hotel selection could be improved, as online ratings are not always reliable and (Read More) may sometimes be misleading. Verifying hotels based on actual recent guest experiences would help ensure a more comfortable stay. Other than that, the trip was well planned and enjoyable.
