Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Gangtok - Explore Local Markets
  • Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Gangtok.
  • Check in at your hotel and enjoy a leisurely evening.
  • Explore the beautiful and quaint hill town, which is adorned with charming monasteries and breathtaking landscapes.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast in the early morning, begin the day with an excursion to Tsomgo/Changu Lake and Baba Mandir.
  • Tsomgo Lake is renowned for its calm, serene waters and picturesque beauty.
  • It is one of the holy lakes in the region, featuring a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva built on the lakeside.
  • Primula flowers and other alpine plants enhance the pristine beauty of this location.
  • The lake is covered in snow and remains frozen until April.
  • Note: The Nathula permit is not included in the package, as it is an optional sightseeing option that can be arranged on a direct payment basis.
  • After breakfast in the morning, start the day with a full day of local sightseeing.
  • Visit the following attractions:
    • Ganesh Tok
    • Hanuman Tok
    • Tashi Viewpoint
    • Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (closed on Sundays)
    • Flower Show
    • Do Drul Chorten Monastery
    • Namgyal Institute of Tibetology
    • Ropeway
    • Bhaktam Waterfalls
  • After sightseeing, return to the hotel. The rest of the day is free.
  • In the evening, you are free to stroll around MG Road or the local market.
  • Overnight stay in Gangtok.
  • After breakfast, check-out from the hotel. 
  • Drop at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station to catch your onward flight/train back home.

Once more, I want to express my gratitude to Jeremy Travels and Binay in particular for making this trip possible. Everything went perfectly, including the organisation, planning, and excellent driver (Read More) (Passang). Binay welcomed us warmly in Rangpo, Sikkim, while donning the customary ceremonial scarf (Khada), which symbolises purity and compassion. A tour of 8 nights and 9 days includes stops in Gangtok, Lachen, Lachung, Peling, and Darjeeling. Must see Baba Mandir, Tshango Lake, and Nathula Pass. At Zero Point, Kalapathtar, and Gurudomgar Lake, I had incredible experiences (Live Snowfall).

The Sikkim Trip(My Honeymoon trip) which I booked through TravelTriangle(Ankit Shrivastva) -Jeremy Travels. The whole trip was arranged by Miss Rehana Madam, very professional lady, good in communica (Read More)tion and guest dealing, she took care of all my needs and all the requests(from iternary to food and special requests and everything). We were welcomed in a traditional way by the team of Jeremy Travels at their office location in Rangpo, which was a really nice gesture. The hotel arranged (Royal heritage(Gangtok) and Lachung Dezong(Lachung)), were really good. Royal heritage hotel and Lacuhng Deezong hotel had all the facilities(Hot Water, Good Food ,special attention to guests need), only wifi was not there in Lachung Deezong hotel. Then comes the Non sharing basis Cabs facility provided by Jeremy Travels, which was one of the best have ever experienced till now, all the 3 Cab drivers we got were really friendly and respectful (Stephen daju, Keshab daju and Bivek Daju)(Daju= Brother/Bhai) very calm, composed, patient guys , very well experienced in driving in hilly areas, never for a second felt unsafe with them. I really want to thank them from bottom of my heart. and at the end of the trip, we again met with Rehana and shared our trip experience and they presented us a parting gift also. PS: As a curious guest in unknown location I had called/texted Rehana g for all kinds of small confirmations in early morning and late evenings as well, she was always there to acknowledge us and to make us feel safe and clear our doubts.
