Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival Muscat - Evening Half day City tour
Meet and greet with our representative at Muscat International Airport and transfer to the hotel.
Check in and relax and In the evening, enjoy a Muscat City Tour (4 hours):
  • Visit the Royal Opera House.
  • Stop at Al-Alam Palace, a ceremonial palace used by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said.
  • Stroll along Mutrah Corniche and explore the vibrant Mutrah Souq for traditional handicrafts and souvenirs.
Return to the hotel and stay overnight in Muscat.
Depart at 9:00 AM for a full-day trip to Sur (9:00 AM–5:00 PM):
Visit Bimmah Sinkhole, Fins Beach, and Wadi Shab for hiking and swimming.
In the afternoon, arrive in Sur and explore:
  • Dhow Factory
  • Hanging Bridge
  • Sur Corniche
  • Lighthouse
Return to Muscat by evening. Overnight stay in Muscat.
Begin your day with a full-day trip to Wahiba Sands Desert (9:00 AM–5:00 PM):
  • Experience thrilling dune bashing at Wahiba Sands.
  • Visit Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the largest valleys in Oman, where you can swim in pristine natural pools.
Return to Muscat by evening.
Overnight stay in Muscat.
After an early breakfast, check out by 8:00 AM and travel to Jabal Al Akhdar:
  • Visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, showcasing beautiful artwork.
  • Stop at Nizwa Souq and Nizwa Fort, which offers splendid views of the ancient town and surrounding mountains.
  • Explore Al Hamra, an old Omani village with traditional homes.

Arrive at Jabal Al Akhdar in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Jabal Al Akhdar.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and travel to Muscat International Airport for your flight to Salalah (departure at 3:00 PM).
On arrival at Salalah International Airport, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and relax. Overnight stay in Salalah.
After breakfast, explore the East Salalah tour:
  • Visit Wadi Darbat for waterfalls, boat tours, and hiking.
  • Discover Jabal Samhan, one of Oman’s highest mountain ranges (2,100 meters).
  • Visit Wadi Hanna to see the unique Baobab trees.
  • End the day at Taqah Beach and Taqah Cliff, a perfect spot for panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and sunset.

Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Salalah.
After breakfast, embark on a West Salalah tour:
  • Visit Ittin Mountain, offering a panoramic view of Salalah.
  • Enjoy lunch at Ittin with traditional Omani food.
  • Explore Coconut Street, Haffa Beach, and the Eftalquot Cliff.
  • Visit Mughsail Beach for its blowholes and dramatic cliffs.
  • Relax at Fazayah Beach, known for its serene white sands.

Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Salalah.
After breakfast, enjoy a Half-Day Salalah City Tour:
  • Visit Al Baleed Museum, located in the Al Baleed Archaeological Park.
  • Explore Al Haffa Souq for souvenirs, including frankincense, gold, and silver jewelry.
  • Stop by Al Husn Palace and nearby garden farms with coconut, banana, and papaya plantations.
Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Salalah.
  • Morning hours are free for relaxation. By noon, check out from the hotel and transfer to Salalah International Airport for your flight to Muscat.
  • On arrival, transfer to the hotel. The evening is free for shopping or leisure activities. Overnight stay in Muscat.
After an early breakfast, proceed to Marina Al Bandar for a Dolphin Watching Tour (8:00 AM–10:00 AM).
Return to the hotel, refresh, and check out.
Transfer to Muscat International Airport for your flight home, taking back thousands of photographs and cherished memories.

Our experience with Falcon Expeditions was really great. They were very helpful during the reservation process to show us all the possible options for accommodations and possible trips. When we reache (Read More)d Salalah, they assigned an Omani tour guide which is very helpful and decent, he showed us many locations more than what was mentioned in the program and he helped us to buy many things from the market with very reasonable prices and advised us with the good restaurants and good local food Restaurants. We really enjoyed our trip and we really recommend Falcon Expeditions to anyone who wants to discover Salalah and Oman not as tourist but a citizen.
