Day 1 Welcome to Vietnam – Da Nang Arrival

Your trip begins with your arrival in Da Nang. Our private driver meets and greets you at the airport and then escorts you to the hotel by private car. Check-in time is at 2 PM.

Enjoy a relaxing morning at your hotel or spend some time at My Khe Beach. In the afternoon, join a tour to Cam Thanh Coconut Village and experience a traditional basket boat ride through the peaceful coconut forest. Continue to Hoi An Ancient Town, where you'll visit cultural landmarks such as Tan Ky Ancient House, the Cantonese Assembly Hall, and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge. Enjoy a traditional art performance, explore the lantern-lit night market, savor local Hoi An specialties for dinner, and take a boat ride on the Hoai River while releasing flower lanterns.

Meet your guide and driver at 8:00 AM to head to Ba Na Hills. Take a cable car ride and visit various attractions including Linh Ung Pagoda and the Old Villas of French. In the late afternoon, transfer to Kiss Bridge, Phu Quoc’s iconic seaside landmark, where you can enjoy stunning ocean views and capture beautiful sunset photos.

I went on the 10-day Vietnam tour, traveling from Hanoi - Ha long Bay - Hoi An - Saigon. This was my first time ever booking a tour through an agency, so I had few expectations. First and foremost, e (Read More)veryone that I came in contact with was exceptional. From the drivers, to the leader, Tony, to each tour-guide that led daily tours, my expectations were exceeded. Everyone was where they said they would be, when they said they would be there. I felt completely comfortable asking questions or making additional requests, and I would absolutely recommend each one of them again. The chosen sites were also great. I wasn’t sure if I’d join a big group for the trip, as I’m new to this. There wasn’t a group, but, basically, I met up with larger groups for each excursion. Ultimately, I met so many folks from all over the world, For myself, two out of four of the hotels were not in the best shape. It wasn't unlivable, but they weren't a stay that I would choose independently. However, the cruise in Ha Long Bay and hotel in Hoi An were spot-on. All four had fantastic breakfasts. I’m incredibly grateful for this experience!

I have been on group tours in a few countries, and the tour I took with Wonderscape Travel was by far the most organized. Oftentimes, different travelers were going to different hotels and joining dif (Read More)ferent tours at the end of the day, but the guides always knew where each person was supposed to go and made sure they got there. Tony Pham made sure to brief me each night on what the plan was for the next day and where I needed to be for pick up. The tours during the day were great as well! Of course the sites were amazing, but the guides also made sure guests had water, opportunities to use the restroom when needed, and helped take pictures for us. They also made sure to ask if anybody had dietary restrictions and had a second option available if necessary. Guests of all ages and abilities were accommodated – we had children in some groups and travelers in their 80s! If they were not able to take part in a particular activity, there was always an alternative option. You get to see a LOT in a short time period. Although this fast pace may not be for everybody, I loved being able to see the most I could. Everybody was so kind and friendly, and as a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. I highly recommend seeing Vietnam with this company!
