Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Drive to Shimla

Pickup from Delhi Airport, Railway Station, or Bus Stand by exclusive vehicle.
Drive to Shimla, which is 288 kilometers from Delhi and will take approximately 8 hours to reach.
Enjoy the scenic Himalayas from the window of your cab as you enter Himachal Pradesh.
If time permits, stopover at Timber Trail Resort along the way.
The cab will pass through Kalka, Parwanoo, Barog, and Solan on the way to Shimla.
Check in and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Sightseeing of the day: Timber Trail Resort.

Day 2 Visit Kufri & Mall Road

Begin your second day in Shimla by enjoying the scenic landscape of the town while having breakfast.
After breakfast, start your day by visiting Kufri and other attractions along the way, including:

Green Valley
Mini Zoo

In the afternoon, visit:

Mall Road
Lakkar Bazaar
Christ Church
Kali Bari Temple

At the end of the day, return to your hotel for a comfortable night's sleep after dinner.

Day 3 Drive to Manali

The next day after breakfast, drive to Manali.
On the way, you will witness some gorgeous spots, including:

Sunder Nagar Lake
Pandoh Dam
Kullu Rafting and Paragliding Point
Kullu Shopping Point
Vaishno Devi

We will take a halt in Kullu, where you can visit:

Hanogi Mata Mandir
Kullu Shopping Point
Kullu Rafting Point

We will then continue our journey to Manali, where you will be directly headed to your pre-booked hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 Manali Local Sightseeing

Delightful local sightseeing in Manali on the fourth day, including visits to:

Hidimba Temple
Club House
Van Vihar
Manu Temple
Tibetan Monastery
Vashisht Village

Return to Manali in the evening for shopping in the local market.
At night, head to your hotel for dinner and proper rest.

Day 5 Drive to Solang Valley

Early morning departure for a full-day tour of Solang Valley.
Experience the majesty of the mountains and glaciers at their best.
Enjoy the snowy paradise with a sled ride down the slopes and try your luck climbing the small snow hills.
Marvel at the magnificent views and natural beauty, which are a never-ending source of delight.
Solang Valley serves as a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting, and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to the 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.
If Rohtang Pass permits are available, you can visit (NGT rules applicable).
Note: All adventure sports at Solang Valley/Snow Point are on a direct payment basis.
Rohtang sightseeing is not included in the package but can be booked on a direct payment basis.

Day 6 Drive to Dharamshala + Local Sightseeing

After spending several enjoyable days in Manali, you will depart for Dharamshala on the 6th day.
Upon arrival in Dharamshala, check in to your hotel and enjoy some leisure time.
Begin local sightseeing, which includes visits to:

HPCA Cricket Stadium
Bhagsunag Temple
McLeod Ganj
Tibetan Monastery
Bhagsunag Waterfall

In the evening, return to the hotel for relaxation and a good night's sleep.

Day 7 Drive to Dalhousie via Khajjiar

On the 7th day, spend half of the day sightseeing in Dharamshala.
Visit several Buddhist monasteries and the Dalai Lama's Palace.
Afterward, depart for Dalhousie via Khajjiar.
Upon arrival in Dalhousie, check in to your pre-booked hotel for a restful stay.

Day 8 Dalhousie Local Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, we proceed to Khajjiar, often referred to as India’s Mini Switzerland.
Khajjiar is believed to be a glacial bowl formed during the last Himalayan ice age, which left behind a lake that gradually withered away.
At Khajjiar Sanctuary, you can enjoy horse riding and various adventure activities.
Afterward, you can visit:

St. Patrick’s Church
St. John’s Church
Gandhi Chowk

Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in the Dalhousie hotel.
Sightseeing of the day includes:

Khajjiar (Mini Switzerland)
St. John’s Church
St. Patrick’s Church
Subhash Baoli
Gandhi Chowk

Day 9 Drop at Delhi

Enjoy a delicious breakfast this morning.
Check out from the hotel.
Drive towards Delhi.
The cab will drop you at Delhi Airport, Railway Station, or Bus Stand for your onward journey.

Our group of 7 friends recently traveled from Chennai to Himachal Pradesh, visiting Manali and Kasol, and we arranged our local travel through The Himalayan Safar by booking a 12-seater tempo traveller. It turned out to be a great decision. The driver (Mr. Hatinder) who accompanied us throughout the trip was extremely kind, helpful, and very punctual. He also handled the difficult terrain drivi (Read More)ng with great skill, making our journey smooth and comfortable. He also suggested several places we could visit, which really enhanced our overall experience. The coordination with Mr. Jagdish was also seamless. He was very responsive, helpful, and kept checking in with us during the trip to make sure everything was going well. Overall, booking through The Himalayan Safar was definitely worth it. We had a wonderful and hassle-free experience, and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip in Himachal.
