Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve
Begin your safari adventure with an early morning drive from Nairobi to the Masai Mara, a world-renowned wildlife reserve. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, arriving in the Mara in time for lunch. After checking in at your lodge or camp, embark on your first game drive to spot wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, and buffalo. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara. The vast plains offer an excellent chance to witness a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue with an afternoon game drive. An optional visit to a Maasai village can be arranged for a cultural experience. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive to Isebania to cross into Tanzania. After immigration formalities, continue to Serengeti National Park, with a picnic lunch en route. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy an evening game drive in the Serengeti, home to the Great Migration (seasonal) and abundant wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, and elephants. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most celebrated parks. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration. Spot predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs in their natural habitat. A picnic lunch will be served in the park. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Take in the stunning landscapes en route. After lunch, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy an afternoon game drive. Spot wildlife such as rhinos, lions, elephants, and flamingos. Return to the crater rim for dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Begin with an early morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. After the tour, ascend the rim and depart for Arusha, the gateway to northern Tanzania. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Arusha.
Enjoy a free day in Arusha. You may choose to visit local markets, nearby cultural sites, or take a scenic walk. Optional excursions include a visit to the Cultural Heritage Museum or a coffee plantation tour. Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning in Arusha depending on your flight time. Later, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your flight home or onward destination.

Transport & Guides
Transportation will be by Safari Minibus, Land Cruiser, or Coach depending on group size and route.
All guests are guaranteed a window seat.
Services of English-speaking driver/guides are included. A professional courier can be arranged on request for an extra charge.

Alterations
The company reserves the right to adjust the itinerary or cancel tours due to unforeseen circumstances.
The company also reserves the right to decline bookings or participation in tours.

Liability
Travel involves inherent risks including illness, accidents, or delays.
The company is not liable for injuries, losses, or delays but encourages travelers to secure adequate travel insurance.

Special Requests
Must be made in writing during booking (e.g., dietary needs, single rooms, assistance for physical disabilities).
While efforts will be made to fulfill requests, they cannot be guaranteed.

Complaints
Clients are advised to immediately report any issue to company staff for resolution.
Only complaints made during the tour in line with this clause will be considered.
Payment Terms
  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
  • The balance must be paid 7 days prior to tour commencement.
  • For bookings made less than 30 days before the tour, full payment is required.
  • Deposits may be forfeited in the event of cancellations or amendments.
Cancellation Charges
  • 60–45 days prior to travel: 15%
  • 45–35 days prior to travel: 25%
  • 30–15 days prior to travel: 50%
  • 14 days to no-show: 100%

All arrangements including hotel, game drives, food arrangements, personalised s (Read More)ervices by İmara Destinations was excellent We started our trip from New Delhi to Nairobi via Mumbai by Indigo flight. Dennis was there to welcome us at the airport early in the morning. We started off to Samburu, had lunch on the way had a relaxing evening at the resort. We had a wonderful game drive next day at the samburu national reserve, saw a leopard, zebra, giraffe, ostrich, etc from close quarters. We went to ol Pajeto conservancy, fed blind rhino, saw chimpanzees and other animals including two horned rhinos, proceeded to Nakuru saw pelicans, flamingos etc there, Masai Mara we stayed for three nights and had two game drives. Could see lots of lions, cheetah with its prey as well as a pregnant cheetah, zebras, giraffes etc. we also saw ostriches and other animals and birds there. We then went to Naivasha had a boat ride with walk and see crocodiles and hippos and crescent island visit walked with zebras, impalas and wildebeest but couldn’t see giraffe there. Due to floods last year many parts of crescent island got submerged so could only see part of the island. Our last destination was Amboseli park with game drive there. Overall it was a highly satisfying and interesting experience. İmara Destinations did a very good job of taking us to the exact spots where animals would be seen uninterrupted. Just went for 8 day safari with James and Wild Portraits Safaris...it was spot o (Read More)n perfect. Reasons 1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp. 2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality. 3. James is very knowledgeable. 4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious. 5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details. 6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it. 7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.
