Trip to Gangtok, Lachung, Lachen, Yumthang Valley

I’m writing this review based on multiple prior mountain travel experiences with different agencies, so my expectations are practical and experience-driven. Pros: • The trip allowed us to witness the beauty of North Sikkim. • Drivers were skilled, polite, and supportive throughout the journey. • Stay and food quality at Gangtok and Lachung were good and satisfactory. Cons: • Overall, (Read More) the agency did not seem serious about stay quality and guest comfort. • Communication was minimal, especially regarding travel updates, safety, and basic arrangements. • At one homestay, basic amenities like towels, coffee sachets, and extra blankets were refused. • No heater was provided at any homestay, despite the cold conditions. • No bonfire arrangement was made at any location. When requested, the agency declined, stating it was not part of the itinerary, while most agencies usually provide this as a complimentary experience. • During heavy snowfall, routes to Nathula and Tsomgo Lake were closed. We only got this update from the driver. • Even after informing the agency, there was no response or effort to suggest an alternative plan. • It felt like there was a lack of accountability and concern for the group during critical situations. Final Thoughts: • Most people plan such trips once or twice a year, investing both time and hard-earned money. • When customers book through an agency, they trust them to manage not just logistics but the overall experience. • Unfortunately, this trip lacked the expected level of service, coordination, and customer care.

It was best and wonderful trip with nature dream holiday. Start from driver and car- On time pickup from airport and hotels. Best guide about every spot and their history. About Hotels - best, clean and safe. Staff was very humble. Overall Nice experience. Food - fabulous. Varieties of food options for both breakfast and dinner.

It was truly memorable! Everything, from the planning to the actual experiences, was absolutely perfect, and I genuinely enjoyed every moment and realizing what an incredible time it was. and making it such a wonderful adventure… Our trip was amazing, but I know, no adventure is ever totally smooth! It’s all about experience.
