Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Dambulla
  • Arrive in Sri Lanka (Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport) and proceed to Dambulla. En route, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and Dambulla Cave Temple.
  • Visit a traditional village near Sigiriya for a cultural tour, including a bullock cart ride, traditional cooking demonstration, and a walk through the village. Overnight stay.
  • Following breakfast, proceed to Kandy. En route, visit a Spice Garden to learn about Sri Lanka's famous spices and plants.
  • Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in Sri Lanka.
  • Explore Kandy Lake and take a leisurely stroll around it.
  • Attend a cultural dance show. Overnight stay.
  • Following breakfast, explore the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya (optional).
  • Proceed to Nuwara Eliya (approx. 3 hours) through beautiful tea plantations and hills.
  • Visit a tea factory to taste and learn about tea production in Sri Lanka.
  • Visit Sri Hanuman Temple.
  • Explore Nuwara Eliya town, including Gregory Lake, the colonial-era post office, and local markets.
  • Relax in a cool climate and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
  • After breakfast, visit Seetha Amman Temple and Ravana Falls for a snapshot. Pass Ella and proceed to Yala National Park area (approx. 3-4 hours).
  • Visit Kathirkamam Murugan Temple.
  • In the afternoon, go on a jeep safari in Yala National Park, known for its leopard population, elephants, sloth bears, and diverse birdlife (optional).
  • Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Yala.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Bentota.
  • Enjoy water sports at Bentota River (jet skiing, banana boat, etc.).
  • Explore Madu Ganga Boat Safari, Cinnamon Islands, and Fish Therapy.
  • Visit the Turtle Hatchery and Conservation Center to learn about sea turtles.

We recently visited Sri-Lanka with Roundtrip Sri lanka, It was indeed an unforgettable experience we had from the time we landed at Colombo Airport till our return back for the flight. Vikky Sir, has assisted us during our visit for a week, our itinerary was well planned and selections of the place and interest to visit was very encouraging. Vikky worked as a true gem for complete travel dur (Read More)ation took us to all the main points of interest we wanted to visit during our stay, He is very trustworthy and professional in his work. He look after to our travel requirement and make sure we complete them as well. Another plus for his side is the punctuality, he was always their waiting for us in the morning at designated time to make sure we do not miss our day plan in a rush but with ease and enjoyment. He took us to the Tea Factory, and the experience was truly amazing visiting the tea factory and tea gardens really was one of the agenda in our tour and this was possible with Vikky’s guidance. Would like to share sincere thanks to Vikky for making our trip a wonderful visit to Sri Lanka. From my experience I can surely recommend to connect with RoundTrip Sri lanka for your next visit. Thank you once again Vikky Sir for all the assistance provided during our stay in Sri Lanka, as promised I shall be sharing some of the pictures we took of the places we have visited. All went well, just the Food is a bit concern for Vegetarians. No need to look well to get some veg foods.

Vikky planned the trip very well and the transportation arranged was also of top quality. The overall experience was really nice and I would strongly recommend his services.
Nothing as such. We could have 1 day extra in Nuwara Eliya.
