Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Pick up from the hotel or airport in the morning. Drive to Amboseli national Park  with breaks on the way and arrive in time for lunch at the Oltukai lodge. 
In the evening you will  enjoy the evening game drive around the life giving swamps, enjoy upclose encounters with the Elephants and Zebras amongs other animals. End the day with a magical sunset then return to your lodge for dinner and  overnight.

With a flexible itinerary enjoy the morning and evening game drives or as you will agree with your professional safari guide. 
Amboseli is home to large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs and other herbivores.
Oltukai lodge is perfectly set in the middle of the park and going back for lunch and enjoying a swim or other activities is a great way to escape the hot midday sun

Depart Amboseli in the morning and head to lake Naivasha. Drive through the great rift valley. You arrive at the Lake  Naivasha Sopa lodge in perfect time for lunch. Take a boat ride in the afternoon , enjoy the hippos and abudant bird life that this amazing Lake has to offer.
You will later return to the lodge and enjoy its amazing ambience

After breakfast, continue to the  famous Masai Mara.
The safari passes through rural areas before reaching the Mara ecosystem. Road conditions can vary, particularly on the final section of the drive.Arrival in time for lunch  then later in the evening , depart on a game drive The Masai Mara is home to lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, zebras, wildebeest and many other species.Return to your Mara Sarova for dinner.

Spend the day exploring the Masai Mara with your expert guide.
You have a flexible itinerary that has  the options of  morning and afternoon game drives or a longer excursion with a packed lunch. Your confirmed itinerary will state the exact arrangement.The annual wildebeest migration is seasonal and its timing is controlled by rainfall and natural movement. Travelling during Diwali should not be presented as a guaranteed migration experience. Nevertheless, the Masai Mara remains a rewarding wildlife destination throughout the year.Optional experiences, including a hot-air balloon safari or cultural visit, are available only when requested, confirmed and paid for separately.

All bookings made with the company are subject to these terms.
1. Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy
You will have to pay a deposit of at least 40% of the booking value for the booking to be confirmed. Please note
that the deposit amount varies based on the tour type and shall be notified to you before making the booking.
Once the booking is accepted by us, we shall send you a booking confirmation email with the voucher, which
shall serve as a contract between us from the date we send the confirmation. All details about the balance
payment which is due before the departure date will be mentioned in the booking voucher. If this balance is
not paid on or before the due date we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
In case of cancellations, the following charges will apply on the amount paid
· 45% if cancelled between 60 and 45 days prior to arrival
· 60% if cancelled between 44 and 30 days prior to arrival
· 100% if cancelled 30 days and 24 hrs prior to arrival
2. If you Change Your Booking
After your booking has been confirmed, should you wish to make any changes to your itinerary or wish an
earlier departure date, we will make every effort to accommodate your requests based on availability. However,
there may be extra costs involved to accommodate your request. These costs are in addition to the fee quoted
to your for your initial safari. Normal cancellation fees apply if you wish to postpone your departure

Just went for 8 day safari with James and Wild Portraits Safaris...it was spot on perfect. Reasons 1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp. 2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality. 3. James is very knowledgeable. 4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious. 5. Trip to Kenya

Everything went smooth and was detailed. Communication was flawless. The experience was seamless and well organised. Our guide Ben was fantastic and knowledgable so we feel we made a friend in Kenya too. James was superb in helping us plan the trip and with suggestions for stay. please be careful while entering the country at immigration - make sure your passport is stamped. We had some issue with this. Can’t complain about anything else. It was beyond our expectations.

We had the greatest possible experience during our 9 day-trip from Amboseli (Kenya), to Tarangine, Ngorongoro, Serengeti (Tanzania) and then to the Mara in Kenya.
