Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Gangtok - IXB/NJP/Siliguri

On arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport, you will be met by our driver who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok. On arrival check into the hotel and enjoy the day at leisure.

GANGTOK: At an altitude of 1750 m, Gangtok became the state capital in the Mid-19th century and has undergone rapid development since then, the downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is also a testing ground for people traveling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by Monasteries and Orchids, Gangtok is truly a traveller's delight.

Breakfast at the hotel and full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake) which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snow off the surrounding mountains. Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the colour of the lake’s waters. Note: Nathula Pass Extra Cost 4500-5500 (Per Vehicle)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Pelling Via Namchi Chardham & Ravangla Buddha Park. Pelling is famous for its magnificent view of the snow-capped mountains of Kanchenjunga. Placid Pelling pulls most of the visitors for its representative status in history, nature and culture of the state. On arrival into the hotel, enjoy the day ,Namchi Sightseeing Sai Mandir, Chardham And Buddha Park.

After Breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour of pelling covering - Kanchenjunga falls, Penyang Monastery, Rimbi Waterfall, Khecheopalri Lake, Orange Garden, Rabdentse Ruins.

Note: Sky Walk ( Extra Cost 1000 Per Vehicle ) And Singshore Bridge ( Extra Cost 2000 Per Vehicle)

After breakfast at 8:30 AM, drive to Darjeeling (110 km, approx. 6-hour drive, elevation 6,730 ft). Check-in at the hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

Early morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colours just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turns golden. It is truly a majestic sight and Ghoom Monastery which is the oldest Monastery in the area which was built in 1875 and one can see the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height on the way back from Kanchendzonga View Point. Then visit Batasia Loop and transfer to the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for a city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. verest, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock / Gombu Rock, Tea Estate (from outside), Japanese Peace Pagoda. Note: Tiger hill pass / coupons subject to availability & it’s free of cost – It will be restricted to not more than 600 cab / day – Based on coupons given by Sadar traffic office only a day in advance. Note: Toy Train (Joy Ride) Depends on time availaibility. Its Extra Cost 1000 / 1500 Per Person ( Available on IRCTC website).

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station in time for flight / train to onward destination.

• Trip to Darjeeling

Hotels were good. Only baba mandir and tsomgo lake were visited in Sikkim all were very good.
The itinerary was not well designed. There was plenty wastage of time. Driver of the vehicle was very lazy and does not come to pickup on scheduled time for dropping to Railway station. We could caught our train hardly.

Coordinated by PUNAM and NIKHIL..... That was a awesome coordination them.. Ths trip was a amazing and quiet adventure trip also..what we thought more than that they have fulfilled our thoughts.. W (Read More)e got so many experiences and memories tooo... They have planned for one night campign near triveni its was oosum place...enjoyed a lot in that place with river rafting also.... The entire team of PUNAM and Nikhil were coordinated excellnt for us . Rooms were clean and good. Food was also good it's like same as our home food. Main thing drivers were good and patience well nice... Everything was good in this trip for us...I suggest to go with them....that was a excellent travels and planned very well in budget friendly.. If possible we will definitely be back with this travels to explore some others places..Thank you so much for u r service..

We have gone to sikkim trip which includes gangtok ,pelling, darjeeling. The hotels provided were very low quality and service was even worse. We paid but the service providers lacked in their comm (Read More)itments Please avoid this tour Operator
