Day 1 Guwahati - Shillong

Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, our friendly representative cum driver will greet you and begin your scenic drive towards Shillong, the charming capital of Meghalaya.

En route, take a refreshing break at the breathtaking Umiam Lake (Barapani)—a serene man-made reservoir surrounded by lush hills, perfect for photography and relaxation.

After arriving in Shillong, check in to your hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, you may visit the following popular attractions:

Don Bosco Museum – A renowned museum showcasing North East India’s diverse tribal cultures.

Day 2 Shillong - Cherrapunji

Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trek to the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat village - a true marvel of bioengineering and Khasi tribal wisdom.
Trek Details: Approximately 3 km one way with 3,500+ steps, including two suspension bridges.
Highlights:
- Cross lush forest trails and natural pools.
- Visit the Single Root Bridge and the crystal-clear Blue Lagoon (additional 40-minute hike).

1) Cab driver. 2) Polite and helpful staff – Always ready to assist and made the check-in smooth.

Small bed size – Not comfortable for a family with an infant. Limited breakfast – Only one plate per person included; extra servings are chargeable. Lack of variety – Breakfast options were minimal and repetitive. Communication- Improver agent communication while booking.

I booked my honeymoon trip with imity travels . Hotels was good and ramson stay in is good hotel and the person in reception is very polite. Cherrapunjj hotel was also good.
