Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu and Explore Thamel Market

Arrive at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy free time at your own pace. You may explore the vibrant Thamel Market, relax at the Garden of Dreams, or visit the Narayanhiti Royal Palace Museum on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Begin with a visit to Patan Durbar Square, followed by Kathmandu Durbar Square, and then Swoyambhunath Stupa (also known as the Monkey Temple). Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, take a domestic flight to Pokhara. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Enjoy the day at leisure—explore the Lakeside tourist area, go boating on Phewa Lake, and visit the Taal Barahi Temple. If time permits, you can also visit Sarangkot via cable car on your own. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

After breakfast, around 10:30 am, visit the World Peace Pagoda, Pumdikot, Devis Falls, and then Gupteshwor Cave. Free time: On your own. Overnight in the Hotel.

After breakfast, fly back to Kathmandu. Visit Bouddhanath & Bhaktapur durbar square on the way, and then drive towards Nagarkot for overnight stay.

  • Sunrise early morning is free for last-minute exploration or packing.
  • You may wish to revisit a favorite site or do some final gift shopping.
  • Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight back home.
  • Carry with you the blessings of Muktinath and memories of the majestic Himalayas.

They were unable to provide us with transportation as they already had prior boo (Read More)kings, so we had to arrange transport through other sources. The resort and hotels were good; however, at the time of booking, they had mentioned that the property in Pokhara would have a swimming pool. In reality, there was no swimming pool, and it was not even a resort but actually a hotel. Nevertheless, the overall stay arrangement was satisfactory.
Except for Siddhartha Riverside, the food at all other hotels and resorts in Nep (Read More)al was not good. They did not even have the basic courtesy to provide drinking water in the room. At the time of check-in, two bottles of water were provided, but the next morning when we asked for a refill, they said refills are only done after 12:00 PM. If we needed water before that, we had to purchase it ourselves. We have traveled extensively around the world, but we have never experienced such dry and unaccommodating behavior anywhere. Refilling drinking water is a very basic courtesy that hotels and resorts should provide.

I had an amazing experience with Holyland Adventure Tours and Travels during my (Read More)7 days / 6 nights trip to Nepal. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The itinerary covered beautiful places including Kathmandu temples, Chandragiri Hill, Bhaktapur, Nagarkot (sunrise & sunset), Pokhara, and adventure activities like paragliding and ziplining, along with the Sarangkot sunrise. Every destination was well planned and executed smoothly. Hotels, transportation, and overall arrangements were excellent. A special thanks to Arith, the manager and tour organizer, who was extremely supportive and took care of every detail. Even after the trip ended, he personally followed up to ensure we reached safely, which truly shows their professionalism and care. Our guide Bijay, appointed by Holyland, was outstanding—very friendly, knowledgeable, supportive, and an excellent driver, especially on hill routes. He made the journey comfortable and enjoyable throughout. Overall, the trip was stress-free, memorable, and perfectly managed. I highly recommend Holyland Adventure Tours and Travels to anyone planning to visit Nepal. Truly a trustworthy and professional travel company!
