Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Bagdogra/ NJP and Transfer to Phuntsholing

Meet and greet at Bagdogra Airport and drive to Phuntsholing via the Beautiful Doors Tea Garden. The drive takes approximately 4 hours.
Check into the hotel and take a rest.
Evening stroll around Zangdupelri Chorten and Phuntsholing town.
Overnight stay in Phuntsholing.

Day 2 Drive to Thimphu and Sightseeing on the way

After breakfast at the hotel, head to the Immigration office for clearance.
Drive to Thimphu through scenic forests, hills, and mountains, which will take approximately 4 hours.
Stop along the way at Gedhu, Whankha Waterfall, and Chonzom for sightseeing.
Check in to the hotel and take a rest.
Enjoy an evening stroll around Thimphu Clock Tower Square and the town.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3 Thimphu Local Sightseeing and Drive to Paro

Buddha Point (Buddha Dordenma Statue), the tallest Buddha statue in the world

The Royal Textile Museum

Day 4 Tiger's Nest Hike OR Chellela Pass Excursion

After an early breakfast at the hotel, start the Tiger’s Nest hike. The hike will take between 5 to 8 hours, depending on the guest's hiking ability.
This is a must-see location in Bhutan.

Enjoy a bird's-eye view of Paro Airport.
Stroll around Paro town in the evening for last-minute shopping and photography.
Experience a hot stone bath to relax after the tiring hike to Tiger’s Nest.

From the very start i.e trip planning, to the very end i.e us reaching our home, Mr Bharat and AVTT representatives have, in my opinion - truly delivered. The itinerary was flawlessly planned and executed, perfectly accommodating even the smallest of our needs along the way. We had the pleasure of meeting some truly wonderful people during our trip: Roma, our guide, was exceptionally generous w (Read More)ith her time and always eager to answer our questions. I had always thought that tour guides were often hard to connect with, but I was completely wrong. Her thoughtful insights, engaging stories, and lighthearted conversations, often laced with humor, truly enhanced our experience. Mr. Bikas, our driver, was a great guy with some fantastic stories! We had a blast listening to him, and his punctuality was spot on—no matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t beat him at being on time! ? And finally, Mr. Bharat and his family—it’s clear that he is incredibly professional and deeply passionate about delivering outstanding experiences through AVTT. From the moment I began planning this trip, I had a strong impression of his dedication, and meeting him in Thimphu only confirmed it. As for Bhutan itself... it’s absolutely worth visiting. I won’t go into the details here, but I’ll just say, "Make sure to visit at least once in your lifetime." The planing and execution of tour was great. They Considered personal requests as my wife was pregnant. The guide and captain. The tour manager Mr. Bharat met us personally in Thimphu and welcomed us with gift also. Our trip was great with them.

Food in hotels was not satisfactory in some hotels.
