Detailed Itinerary
- Distance: Approximately 194 km
- Time: About 4 hours
- Upon arrival at JKIA Airport and after clearing customs, you will be met by our company representative and a driver guide.
- After the meet and greet, you will be briefed about the tour and then depart for Amboseli National Park, set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
- The park is renowned for its large herds of elephants and clear panoramic views of the highest peak in East Africa.
- En route, there will be a stopover at Emali Town Centre.
- You will proceed to arrive at AA Lodge Amboseli in time for lunch.
- In the afternoon, you will enjoy a thrilling game drive in the park.
- You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
- After breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game drive in the park.
- The drive will allow you to observe large herds of elephants and other members of the African Big Five, including:
- Elephants
- Buffalos
- Lions
- Additionally, you may encounter other wildlife such as:
- Giraffes
- Zebras
- Gazelles
- Cheetahs
- Hyenas
- The park is home to approximately 400 species of birds.
- As you explore the park, you will have the opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of the highest mountain in East Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro.
- In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
- After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the Rift Valley.
- On your way, you will have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for scenic views of the escarpment.
- You will arrive in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp.
- Lunch will be followed by an afternoon boat ride on the lake.
- The driver will assist you in getting the boatman who will take you for the boat ride to Crescent Island.
- You will receive a short briefing from the boatman and driver before proceeding with the ride.
- The boat will take you on a scenic tour of the lake, including a visit to Crescent Island, which is an animal and bird sanctuary on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha.
- A variety of mammals can be seen grazing in the surrounding lake area, such as Maasai giraffes, zebras, dik-diks, steenboks, impalas, gazelles, and hippos, mostly at night.
- You will spend some time wandering around at your own pace, enjoying the peace and calmness, broken only by the sounds of the island's wild inhabitants.
- At 5:00 PM, you will return to where you left your driver and then drive to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
- Depart from Lake Naivasha early in the morning to Maasai Mara, driving along the beautiful flower farms of Naivasha.
- Upon arrival, check in at the lodge, have lunch, and relax.
- Take your first thrilling evening game drive in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, one of East Africa's top safari destinations.
- The Mara Reserve encompasses 1,510 km² of incredible, wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland, following the meandering paths of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya.
- Experience the typical open savannah, home to a diverse array of amazing wildlife.
- After your first adventure in Maasai Mara, enjoy dinner and relax under the stars, falling asleep to the sounds of the bush.
- Overnight stay at Mara Simba Lodge.
- After breakfast, you will proceed for a full-day game drive in this premier reserve.
- The game drives will take you in search of Africa's Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this game reserve.
- On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange-tinged sunsets that are well worth capturing on camera.
- Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara, you will frequently see wildlife, including:
- Masai giraffe
- Baboons
- Warthogs
- Bat-eared foxes
- Grey jackals
- Spotted hyenas
- Topis
- Impala
- Hartebeests
- Wildebeest
- Savannah elephants
- African cape buffaloes
- Zebras
- Hippos
- It is also common to see black-manned lions either basking after a heavy meal or surveying the plains for their next meal.
- Leopards are usually nocturnal but are reasonably common.
- You will also be taken for a cultural visit to a Maasai village.
- Return to the lodge in the evening.
- Overnight at Mara Simba Lodge.
- After breakfast, you will check out and depart for Nairobi.
- On your way, there will be a stopover at Narok Town.
- You will proceed to arrive in Nairobi at approximately 13:30.
- You will be dropped off at JKIA Airport in time for your scheduled flight.
