Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park. The drive takes you through beautiful Tanzanian countryside, with a stop along the way for refreshments or lunch. Upon arrival at Mikumi, you will enter the park and enjoy an afternoon game drive, where you may see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, wildebeest, hippos and, if lucky, lions. After the game drive, you will head to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will set out for a full-day game drive through Mikumi National Park. The day will be spent exploring the park's open plains, woodland and water areas while searching for wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, hippos and lions. You will enjoy lunch either at a designated picnic area in the park or back at the lodge before continuing with the afternoon safari. In the evening, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will check out and begin your journey from Mikumi to Nyerere National Park. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes and local villages as you travel south toward one of Tanzania's largest protected areas. After lunch and arrival in the Nyerere area, you will check into your lodge or camp and, depending on the arrival time, enjoy an afternoon game drive to begin exploring the park. You may encounter elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and other wildlife before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a morning game drive in Nyerere National Park, exploring different areas of the park in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos and other wildlife. After lunch and some time to relax, you will experience one of the highlights of the safari: a boat safari along the Rufiji River. From the boat, you can observe hippos and crocodiles in the water while watching elephants and other animals along the riverbanks, as well as enjoying the beautiful scenery and birdlife. You will return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Today is dedicated to another full-day wildlife adventure in Nyerere National Park. After breakfast, you will head into the park with your safari guide and explore areas that you may not have visited on the previous game drives. The safari will provide further opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, lions, wild dogs and numerous bird species. A picnic lunch can be enjoyed in the park before continuing the afternoon game drive, after which you will return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and your final overnight stay in Nyerere.

After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and, depending on your departure time, enjoy a short morning game drive for one final opportunity to see wildlife. You will then leave Nyerere National Park and begin the journey back to Dar es Salaam, enjoying the scenery and passing through local communities along the way. You will arrive in Dar es Salaam in the afternoon or early evening, marking the end of your six-day safari through Mikumi and Nyerere National Parks.

Safari Inclusions
- Accommodation for 5 nights in lodges or tented camps.
- All meals as specified in the itinerary: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Private 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof.

- Tips and gratuities for the safari guide, driver and lodge staff.
- Soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and other drinks not specified in the package.
- Activities not mentioned in the itinerary, such as optional walking safaris.
- Accommodation or meals before Day 1 or after Day 6.
- Any additional activities or excursions requested outside the agreed itinerary.
- Personal travel equipment and other items not specifically mentioned under inclusions.
To confirm your safari booking, a deposit of 30% of the total safari price is required. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the safari start date.
Cancellation charges are applied as follows:
* More than 60 days before arrival: 10% of the total booking price
* 60–31 days before arrival: 30% of the total booking price
* 30–15 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking price
* 14–8 days before arrival: 75% of the total booking price
* 7 days or less before arrival, no-show, or early departure: 100% of the total booking price
- The deposit may be non-refundable once accommodation, park fees, transport, or other safari services have been booked and paid for on the client’s behalf. Any refund will be processed after deducting applicable cancellation charges and non-refundable supplier costs.
- Changes to travel dates may be possible subject to availability and may result in additional charges. Any request to change the itinerary or travel dates must be submitted in writing.
- If the company must cancel or significantly modify the safari due to circumstances beyond its control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, civil unrest, or other force majeure events, the company will work with the client to arrange alternative services or reschedule the safari.
- Refunds will be handled according to the amounts recoverable from suppliers.We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, baggage loss, and travel interruptions.
