Welcome to Bhutan! Meet & greet on arrival by our representative at NJP railway station/Bagdogra airport and drive to Indo-Bhutan Border Jaigaon/Phuentsholing. Enjoy the scenic views of tea garden estates on the way. Check in to the hotel and spend the evening free for local market exploration. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities and drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Enjoy views of Chukha Dam and stop for photos at Wankha Waterfalls. Check in to the hotel in Thimphu and spend the evening free for local market exploration. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Punakha, once the capital of Bhutan. Visit Dochula Pass and the memorial for Bhutanese Army personnel. Explore Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility) and Punakha Dzong. Stroll through the temple grounds and suspension bridge before returning to Thimphu for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit Simply Bhutan, an interactive living museum. Explore the National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma Statue, Changangkha Lhakhang, Motitang Takin Preserve, Painting School, Clock Tower, and Tashi Chho Dzong. Drive back to Paro for an overnight stay.
Hike to Taktsang Monastery, Bhutan's iconic landmark, located 900 meters above the Paro Valley. Trek through beautiful pine forests for around 2-3 hours. Optional hot stone bath. Overnight stay in Paro.
After an early breakfast, drive to Bagdogra airport/NJP railway station with sweet memories of your Bhutan holiday.
