Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu – Cultural Welcome Experience

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.

Day 2 Kathmandu Heritage, Street Food & Local Life Experience

After breakfast, the day begins with a guided exploration of Kathmandu?s rich cultural heritage.
Start with the UNESCO-listed Kathmandu Durbar Square, where ancient palaces, temples, and courtyards showcase centuries of history.
Continue into the vibrant local markets filled with spices, fresh produce, and traditional goods, offering insight into daily Nepalese life.
Enjoy a curated street food tasting tour, sampling local favorites such as momo, sel roti, and chatamari.
In the afternoon, visit the iconic Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), which offers panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley.
The day concludes with a cultural dinner accompanied by live traditional music and dance performances.

Day 3 Bhaktapur Cultural Walk & Authentic Cooking Experience

Following breakfast, you will travel to Bhaktapur, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Nepal.
You will walk through Bhaktapur Durbar Square, exploring its ancient temples, intricate wood carvings, and traditional Newari architecture.
You will visit a local Newari home to participate in an interactive cooking class guided by a local family.
During this hands-on experience, you will learn to prepare authentic Nepalese dishes such as momo, bara, choila, and traditional achar using locally sourced ingredients.
You will also taste the famous Juju Dhau (King Curd), a signature dessert of Bhaktapur.
After spending a culturally enriching day, you will return to Kathmandu in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 4 Scenic Drive to Bandipur – Traditional Hill Town Immersion

After breakfast, the journey continues with a scenic drive toward Bandipur, a beautifully preserved hilltop town known for its cultural authenticity and panoramic Himalayan views.
Upon arrival, you will explore the charming cobblestone streets, traditional Newari houses, and peaceful hilltop viewpoints overlooking the Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges.
The afternoon is reserved for cultural interaction with local families, offering a glimpse into rural Nepali lifestyle and traditions.

Day 5 Bandipur to Pokhara – Lakeside Culinary & Cultural Experience

After a peaceful morning walk in Bandipur, you will drive to Pokhara, Nepal?s most scenic lakeside city.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing lunch featuring authentic Thakali cuisine, known for its rich flavors and balanced traditional meal sets.

They were unable to provide us with transportation as they already had prior boo (Read More)kings, so we had to arrange transport through other sources. The resort and hotels were good; however, at the time of booking, they had mentioned that the property in Pokhara would have a swimming pool. In reality, there was no swimming pool, and it was not even a resort but actually a hotel. Nevertheless, the overall stay arrangement was satisfactory.

Except for Siddhartha Riverside, the food at all other hotels and resorts in Nep (Read More)al was not good. They did not even have the basic courtesy to provide drinking water in the room. At the time of check-in, two bottles of water were provided, but the next morning when we asked for a refill, they said refills are only done after 12:00 PM. If we needed water before that, we had to purchase it ourselves. We have traveled extensively around the world, but we have never experienced such dry and unaccommodating behavior anywhere. Refilling drinking water is a very basic courtesy that hotels and resorts should provide.
