Cherrapunjee (4690 Ft / 1430 Mts)

After breakfast go for a trek to Double Decker Living Root Bridge - 3-4 hours from the starting point (depending on the Fitness of the guest). Distance 4 km down and up 1000 feet approx. This trek goes downhill through village Sohsarat. The steps are relatively steeper in two short stretches. Half the distance is covered by steps going downhill. Then there is a jungle path going along the sides of the hill leading to the Living Root Bridge with a few steps after short stretches of sloping foot path. Moss thrives on these sandstone steps during the monsoon and makes them slippery. Back trek to starting point and evening at leisure. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.

After breakfast visit – Arwah Cave / Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls, Wah Kaba Falls, Eco Park, Garden of Caves. Later back to hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee. Most waterfalls get dried in winter.

Mawlynnong (4906 Ft / 1496 Mts, 80 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs drive oneway from Cherrapunjee) Dawki Lake (5904 Ft / 1800 Mts, 30 Kms / 01 to 02 Hrs drive oneway from Mawlynnong) Shillong (5002 Ft / 1525 Mts, 90 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs Drive oneway from Dawki Lake)

After breakfast drive to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. After village visit drive to Dawki and visit border area. Drive to Shillong for overnight stay.

Mawlynnong village, situated at about 100 Kms ahead of Shillong on the Shillong-Dawki Road, 30 kms from Pynursla, is a village of 75 households with a population of 400. An idyllic location, this village epitomizes a standard, which all other villages need to aspire to be. Mwaphlang (4906 Ft / 1496 Mts, 30 Kms / 01 to 02 Hrs drive approx oneway from Shillong)

After breakfast, proceed to visit in and around Shillong. Visit the outskirts of Shillong - Mawphlang Sacred Forest, Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak (Depending on Army Permission). After sightseeing back to Shillong visit Cathedral Cathotic Church - In the heart of the city, there stands a beautiful cathedral of Roman Catholics dedicated to Mary Help of Christian. Overnight stay at Shillong 

Guwahati (1148 Ft / 350 Mts, 140 Kms / 04 to 05 Hrs drive)

After breakfast check-out and drive to Guwahati. Check-in hotel, later visit Kamakhya Temple (Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till its gets dark), Evening River Cruise on Brahmaputra (On Direct Payment on your own). Overnight at Guwahati.

Guwahati (1148 Ft / 350 Mts, 25 Kms / 01 Hrs drive)

After breakfast drive to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward connection.
