Day 1 Nairobi to Masai Mara – Journey Into the Wild

Your safari adventure kicks off with an early 6:30 AM pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport.
Enjoy a scenic drive down the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Around 8:00 AM, stop briefly at a viewpoint to enjoy sweeping views and take photos.
Continue through the highlands and small towns to Masai Mara.
Arrive at your lodge or camp by around 1:00 PM, just in time for check-in and lunch.
After a short rest, set out for an afternoon game drive from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM in the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve.
This will be your first opportunity to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and many other species in their natural habitat.
After the drive, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay inside or near the reserve.

Day 2 Full-Day Game Viewing in Masai Mara

Fuel up with an early breakfast at 6:30 AM.
Begin a full-day safari adventure through Masai Mara at around 7:30 AM, carrying your packed picnic lunch.
The early hours are ideal for spotting predators as the savannah comes alive.
Explore the reserve's rolling grasslands and rich ecosystems while searching for lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and more.
At midday, pause for a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by nature.
Depending on the season, you might catch a glimpse of the wildebeest migration or river crossings near the Mara River (typically from July to September).
After a rewarding day, return to your camp or lodge by 5:30 PM to relax, enjoy dinner, and share stories of your sightings.

Day 3 Masai Mara to Nakuru – Optional Maasai Visit & Lake Naivasha Experience

After breakfast, you'll have the option to visit a Maasai village (entry fee paid on site: approx. $20) - a meaningful cultural experience where you'll learn about the tribe's unique lifestyle, vibrant traditions, and community structure.
Depart Masai Mara by around 8:30 AM and travel toward Nakuru, passing through the scenic countryside.
Enjoy lunch en route.
Stop at Lake Naivasha for a relaxing boat ride and a walk on Crescent Island, where you can get up close to giraffes, zebras, and other herbivores in a predator-free zone.
By 5:00 PM, arrive in Nakuru for check-in, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge or hotel.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru Game Drive & Transfer to Amboseli via Nairobi

Begin the day with an early morning game drive at around 6:30 AM in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its vibrant birdlife, including flamingos, pelicans, and storks, as well as rhinos and the rare Rothschild giraffe.
Don't miss the panoramic view from Baboon Cliff, which offers an excellent vantage point over the park.
Around 11:00 AM, check out and begin your journey to Amboseli National Park, stopping for lunch along the way.
Pass through Nairobi and continue south toward the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Expect to arrive in Amboseli by late evening for check-in, dinner, and your overnight stay at a camp or lodge.

Day 5 Full-Day Safari in Amboseli – With Kilimanjaro Views

After breakfast, embark on a full-day game viewing safari with picnic lunchboxes.
Amboseli is renowned for its massive herds of elephants and iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest peak.
Capture amazing photos with elephants in the foreground and the snow-capped mountain behind.
You will also encounter a variety of wildlife, including lions, wildebeests, cheetahs, zebras, buffaloes, hyenas, giraffes, and antelopes.
After a fulfilling day of exploration, return to your camp or lodge for dinner and your final night on safari.

Day 6 Amboseli to Nairobi – Safari Farewell

Enjoy breakfast at your lodge.
Check out and begin your return journey to Nairobi.
Enjoy a final game drive en route out of the park, spotting any last-minute wildlife.
Arrive in Nairobi by early afternoon.
Drop-off at your hotel, airport, or train station.
Conclude your memorable 6-day safari across Kenya's top wildlife destinations.
