Day 1 Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

Depart early from Nairobi, heading towards Lake Naivasha.
Stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for stunning geological views.
Pass by Mount Longonot, a stratovolcano with an impressive caldera.
Drive past the historic Italian Catholic Church, built in 1942.
Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon boat ride.
Explore Crescent Island by horse ride or nature walk.
Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort.

Day 2 Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park.
Enjoy a game drive in search of black and white rhinos, lions, antelopes, flamingos, and pelicans.
Experience the diverse ecosystem of Lake Nakuru.
Lunch and dinner at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

Day 3 Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve

All arrangements including hotel, game drives, food arrangements, personalised s (Read More)ervices by İmara Destinations was excellent We started our trip from New Delhi to Nairobi via Mumbai by Indigo flight. Dennis was there to welcome us at the airport early in the morning. We started off to Samburu, had lunch on the way had a relaxing evening at the resort. We had a wonderful game drive next day at the samburu national reserve, saw a leopard, zebra, giraffe, ostrich, etc from close quarters. We went to ol Pajeto conservancy, fed blind rhino, saw chimpanzees and other animals including two horned rhinos, proceeded to Nakuru saw pelicans, flamingos etc there, Masai Mara we stayed for three nights and had two game drives. Could see lots of lions, cheetah with its prey as well as a pregnant cheetah, zebras, giraffes etc. we also saw ostriches and other animals and birds there. We then went to Naivasha had a boat ride with walk and see crocodiles and hippos and crescent island visit walked with zebras, impalas and wildebeest but couldn’t see giraffe there. Due to floods last year many parts of crescent island got submerged so could only see part of the island. Our last destination was Amboseli park with game drive there. Overall it was a highly satisfying and interesting experience. İmara Destinations did a very good job of taking us to the exact spots where animals would be seen uninterrupted. Well done İmara Destinations. Thanks to Dennis and Murray for it

Just went for 8 day safari with James and Wild Portraits Safaris...it was spot o (Read More)n perfect. Reasons 1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp. 2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality. 3. James is very knowledgeable. 4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious. 5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details. 6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it. 7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.
