Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok

Meet and greet upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport.
Transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.).
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Nathula Pass Optional)

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.), located 55 km one way from Gangtok city.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
In case of a landslide or any other reason that Tsomgo Lake is closed, we will provide alternate sightseeing options.

Day 3 Gangtok – Pelling Via Ravangla

After breakfast, depart for Pelling (6,300 ft).
En route, visit Ravangla Buddha Park.
After the visit, transfer to Pelling.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.
Overnight stay in Pelling.

Day 4 Pelling Half-day Sightseeing - Darjeeling

After breakfast, begin sightseeing at:

Pemayangtse Monastery
Rabdantse Ruins
Sky Walk

Later, transfer to Darjeeling.
Upon arrival, check into the hotel.
Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 5 Darjeeling Full day Sightseeing

Early morning (at 04:00 am), drive to Tiger Hill (8,400 ft.) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft., the world's 3rd highest peak).
On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
After breakfast, visit the following attractions:

Himalayan Mountaineering Institute
P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday)
Tenzing Rock
Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sunday)
Tea Garden (outer view)
Japanese Temple

Evening free for shopping or leisure.
Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 6 Darjeeling – NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport

After breakfast at the hotel,
take a transfer to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station in time for your flight or train to the onward destination.

It all starts from a wish to tour the northeast and rest were all done by travel (Read More) hubbin via badal jamval ji. Complete itenary, package and planning was done by him.It was my first northeast tour and it became my favourite destination. All thanks to travel hubbin.

Payments should be done stepwise because initially it is difficult to trust on a (Read More)ny new agencies. Timely deliver of hotel confirmation vouchers. And itenary should be plan according to the holidays of that area because my one day was almost gone due to Sunday and I miss the double decker living root bridge. You should share a google link of some famous and must go places in increasing order of distance from hotel of that day to driver and tourist so that there should be no confusion to decide that which place to explore now. Rest was good and improvements will keep going.

As we are senior citizens we were happy before Darjeeling tour. In Darjeeling w (Read More)e were cheated. As one room no. 304 of our hotel was below standard for which we were charged was not given and location of hotel was not good as no taxi were available nearby and we senior citizens can't walk freely.

Please keep this in mind while booking hotels for senior citizens going forward.
