Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok

Meet and greet upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport.
Transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.).
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Nathula Pass Optional)

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.), located 55 km one way from Gangtok city.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
In case of a landslide or any other reason that Tsomgo Lake is closed, we will provide alternate sightseeing options.

Day 3 Gangtok – Pelling Via Ravangla

After breakfast, depart for Pelling (6,300 ft).
En route, visit Ravangla Buddha Park.
After the visit, transfer to Pelling.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.
Overnight stay in Pelling.

Day 4 Pelling Half-day Sightseeing - Darjeeling

After breakfast, begin sightseeing at:

Pemayangtse Monastery
Rabdantse Ruins
Sky Walk

Later, transfer to Darjeeling.
Upon arrival, check into the hotel.
Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 5 Darjeeling Full day Sightseeing

Early morning (at 04:00 am), drive to Tiger Hill (8,400 ft.) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft., the world's 3rd highest peak).
On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
After breakfast, visit the following attractions:

Himalayan Mountaineering Institute
P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday)
Tenzing Rock
Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sunday)
Tea Garden (outer view)
Japanese Temple

Evening free for shopping or leisure.

Day 6 Darjeeling – NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport

After breakfast at the hotel,
take a transfer to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station in time for your flight or train to the onward destination.

The trip was very well organized and offered great value for money. Anuradha Ma' (Read More)am provided a reasonable package and managed everything professionally. Our driver-cum-guide Chandan was excellent, friendly, punctual, and guided us throughout the trip. The sightseeing, transportation, and overall experience in Sikkim, Gangtok, and Darjeeling were wonderful.

Hotel selection could be improved, as online ratings are not always reliable and (Read More) may sometimes be misleading. Verifying hotels based on actual recent guest experiences would help ensure a more comfortable stay. Other than that, the trip was well planned and enjoyable.
