Cancellation Policy

At the company, we understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while also considering the operational commitments we make on your behalf.

1. Cancellation by the Guest:

    • 45 days or more prior to departure – Full refund, less a 10% administrative fee.
    • 45 – 30 days prior to departure – 75% refund of total safari cost.
    • 30 – 21 days prior to departure – 50% refund of total safari cost.
    • 21 days or less prior to departure / No-show – No refund.

2. Cancellation by the company:

In the unlikely event that we must cancel your safari due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters, park closures, or political instability), you will be offered:

    • A full refund, or
    • The option to reschedule to a future date at no extra cost.

3. Amendments & Rescheduling:

    • Date changes requested more than 30 days prior to departure may be accommodated subject to availability, with no penalty.
    • Date changes requested within 30 days of departure will be subject to price changes as per itinerary due to last-minute price adjustments by lodges and camps.

4. Refunds:

    • All refunds will be processed within 30 business days, less bank or transaction charges.

5. Travel Insurance:

    • We strongly recommend guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected events, medical emergencies, or trip interruptions.

I organized a coast vacation for 3 nights at Medina Palms. The sunset dhow sail at Midacreek was beautiful and chef Paul's salads were very tasty. Their sister property Alhamra is very beautiful and w (Read More)ould wish to stay there next time. The driver Mohamed who picked us up from Malindi airport was very courteous. Tribe watersports taught us some wind surfing and it was exiting. Thank you Jesse and Nenkai team for the amazing recommendations.

I recently booked a trip through Nenkai Expeditions, and I wanted to share my experience. My journey included visits to Nairobi at fairview hotel, olkinyei mara tented camp in the Maasai Mara, and the (Read More) beautiful Amboseli sopa lodge in Amboseli national park. On arrival our driver James was much more than our guide / transfer driver, Having spent so much time in their company we feel we have left behind new friends. Was sad to say goodbye to the lovely people. Jesse our specialist operator simply brilliant right from the prompt, reliable and detailed itinerary they provided, amazing customer service and best safari itenerary, and upon request provided us with a calm driver who did all our transfers from the airport and the day hotel and also the transfer to Wilson Airport for transfer to our safari destinations. The hotel recommendations were simply amazing, we all were taken care of and no detail was left un attended to, we enjoyed our first safari together as a family and James who made every meal exciting for the kids, Also we enjoyed our tour of the staff area and playing soccer/volleyball with the staff And also, going for morning and evening game drives was an amazing experience! There was so much to do at camp! Our family has praises enough of the trip and the quality of the service the hotels did provide. Our recent 6-day safari with Nenkai Expedition to the Maasai Mara and Serengeti was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all expectations. Our tour guide, Kasaine, was nothing short of remarkable. His extensive knowledge of the wildlife and the terrain, combined with his genuine passion for the environment, truly enriched our journey. Our first three days were spent in the Maasai Mara, where we stayed at Ashnil Mara Camp. Nestled along the Mara River, the camp is a blend of luxury and nature. Waking up to the sights and sounds of the river, surrounded by the Mara's iconic landscapes, was a dream come true. The camp itself is stunning, offering a perfect balance of comfort and wilderness. The tents are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the amenities you could ask for, without losing the authentic safari feel. The staff at Ashnil were incredibly attentive, ensuring that every moment of our stay was perfect. The next three days took us to the Serengeti, where we stayed at the Migration Camp. This location was equally breathtaking, offering panoramic views of the Serengeti plains. The camp’s proximity to the migratory paths allowed us to witness the Great Migration up close, a sight that will forever be etched in our memories. The camp itself was luxurious, with every tent providing a front-row seat to the wild. The evenings were especially magical, as we sat around the campfire under the stars, listening to the sounds of the Serengeti. Throughout the safari, Kasaine and the Nenkai Expedition team were always available, addressing every query and providing expert advice promptly. Their dedication to ensuring we had the best experience possible was evident in every aspect of the trip.
