Day 1 Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve
Begin your adventure with a morning departure from Nairobi, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stopover for photography and refreshments. Arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive across the Mara’s vast plains, home to the iconic Big Five and countless other wildlife species. As the sun sets, return to your accommodation for dinner and a peaceful night in the wild.
After breakfast, set out for a full-day exploration of Masai Mara. Witness the drama of the savannah unfold as you track lions, elephants, cheetahs, and perhaps a leopard resting in the trees. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning landscape, allowing you to maximize your time in the reserve. If you wish, an optional visit to a Maasai village can be arranged, offering a glimpse into the vibrant culture and traditions of the Maasai people. Conclude your day with dinner and relaxation at your lodge or camp.
After an early breakfast, bid farewell to Masai Mara and journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at your lodge for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive through this park renowned for its birdlife, including flocks of pink flamingos, pelicans, and cormorants. Keep an eye out for black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and other wildlife as you explore this picturesque destination. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Following breakfast, drive to the nearby Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for a leisurely lunch. The afternoon offers a chance to explore the serene waters of the lake on a guided boat ride, where you can spot hippos, fish eagles, and a variety of water birds. For those seeking more adventure, an optional visit to Crescent Island for a guided nature walk can be arranged. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge or resort by the lake.
On your final day, enjoy a relaxed breakfast while taking in the tranquil beauty of Lake Naivasha. Depart mid-morning for Nairobi, enjoying the scenic drive back. Arrive in the early afternoon, marking the end of an incredible safari filled with unforgettable memories.

Rates
Tour prices include accommodation, transport, meals as per the itinerary, park entrance fees, and guiding services. Personal expenses such as visas, tips, drinks, and laundry are not included. Rates are subject to change based on fluctuations in tariffs or exchange rates.

Accommodation
Based on twin/double sharing. Single room requests are available at an extra cost but are subject to availability.

Payment
50% deposit is required at booking. Balance payment must be completed 7 days before the tour start date. Full payment is required for bookings made within 30 days of travel.

Transport
Transport will be in appropriate safari vehicles (4x4, minibus, or coach), depending on group size and route. Window seats are guaranteed for all passengers.

Tour Changes
The company reserves the right to change the itinerary or cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances. Refunds will be provided for cancellations initiated by the company.

Liability
The company acts only as an agent and is not responsible for injury, illness, loss, delays, or other unforeseen circumstances during the tour. Travel insurance is recommended.

Special Requests
All special needs or preferences must be communicated in writing at the time of booking. While efforts will be made to accommodate them, fulfillment is not guaranteed.
Cancellation Charges:
  • 60–45 days before travel: 15%
  • 45–35 days before travel: 25%
  • 30–15 days before travel: 50%
  • 14 days to no-show: 100%

Masai mara tour: We are short of words to describe our trip with Penfam tours in Masai Mara.My husband rarely enjoys vacations but this one is one for the books.From our Nairobi hotel to the Masai mara ,the transition and game drives were so enjoyable to say the least.We got to see so many animals including the big five and other smaller ones who are part of the animal kingdom like zebras,gazelle (Read More)s and elands.We were even lucky to witness a kill of lioness against a baby antelope right in front of us.We will definitely come back again.Thanks Penfam for making our trip unforgettable..
