Day 1 Guwahati - Shillong
  • You will be picked up by our representative cum driver at the Airport/Railway Station and then drive directly to Shillong, the capital of the state of Meghalaya.
  • During your journey, you will stop by Umiam Lake, a stunning lake that is a popular tourist destination and can be found shortly before entering Shillong.
  • After reaching Shillong, check into your hotel. Later that if time allows, you can visit:
    • Don Bosco museum
    • Ward's Lake
    • Police Bazaar
  • Overnight stay at Shillong.
  • Transfer to Cherrapunji
  • On the way, visit Cathedral Church of Mary, Shillong Peak, Elephant Fall, Mawdok Valley View Point, Seven Sisters Waterfall and Mawsmai Cave
  • Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.
  • Double Decker Living Root Bridge: The double decker living root bridge is one-of-a-kind attraction of Meghalaya. The track to bridge is almost 3km long and 3500+ steps. It takes whole day, but worth seeing once. Not only is it a naturally built ecosystem of local flora but it also symbolizes the relationship and knowledge that the local people have over their region and the cultural significance that it holds for them. Under ideal conditions, a root bridge is thought to be able to persist for hundreds of years. We have to walk through 3500+ steps one way, cross two iron bridges to reach the double decker bridge by 11.15. It was a great experience. While returning, we took a small detour, saw the single living root bridge as well. One can go to blue lagoon, which is another 40 minutes further.

  • Morning post your breakfast, drive to visit the following beautiful destinations:
  • Dawki:It's a beautiful river and an excellent boating experience with pictures of crystal-clear waters. River Umngot, also known as the Dawki River, is the clearest bay in the Asian continent with crystal clear waters. The river water is the cleanest and most beautiful in the month of December.
  • Mawlyonng:A picturesque village located in East Khasi Hills along the India - Bangladesh border. Declared as the cleanest village in Asia by Discover India magazine in 2003, the modestly existing Mawlyonng has alternatively been known as 'God's own garden' to go for a short trek of the village and see the Khasi way of life and meet the locals. You can visit Balancing Rock, Sky Walk, Bangladesh View point and the longest Living Root Bridge.
  • In the evening back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
  • Morning Post breakfast, drive with our driver cum representative towards Guwahati.
  • After reaching Guwahati, if time allows, you can visit below mentioned destinations:
    • Maa Kamakhya Temple
    • Umananda Temple
  • After that our representative cum driver will drop you directly to the Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. Our journey ends here. Hope you enjoyed the tour. Have a bagful of memories to cherish for a lifetime.

the driver as best. He had accompanied very ell. He knew his limits and adjusted (Read More) very ell to our likes and changes in the plans. Very Supportive staffs from hill dheko.
The hospitality at La Castle hotel as bad. The manager Mr. Sharma's attitude wa (Read More)s not at all approachable. The way he spoke changed entirely once we refused to have dinner from the hotel. and even the rooms smelt bad. first day we were allotted good room which was actually promised. The second day the room as cramped and also the both the days the washroom stink a lot and on the second day the washroom as very small. And the worst part was they charged us for the food in the morning although it was said that it would be complimentary. just 1 plate extra, he charged us. Overall at La Castle , we were disappointed. Please dont here after provide La Castle as option.

1 resort 100waterfall camp was not so good and the food served there was worst a (Read More)nd service was also pathetically bad.. so avoid booking this property.. otherwise all are good and polo tower was excellent. Smokey mae fi was also good.. So travelleasy chosen the best for us. And we are looking forward to book with them again for our arunachal trip

He also took us to Lum Er Pyngngad (Mini Pahalgam) as a last-minute addition, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The sightseeing spots were all beautiful (10/10), and the accommodations were very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Only dawki stay hotel rebha was worst ..my personal experience with stay and foo (Read More)d was really worst..in future kindly note not to add that hotel in your bucket...rest everything was awesome..
