- Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.
- Double Decker Living Root Bridge: The double decker living root bridge is one-of-a-kind attraction of Meghalaya. The track to bridge is almost 3km long and 3500+ steps. It takes whole day, but worth seeing once. Not only is it a naturally built ecosystem of local flora but it also symbolizes the relationship and knowledge that the local people have over their region and the cultural significance that it holds for them. Under ideal conditions, a root bridge is thought to be able to persist for hundreds of years. We have to walk through 3500+ steps one way, cross two iron bridges to reach the double decker bridge by 11.15. It was a great experience. While returning, we took a small detour, saw the single living root bridge as well. One can go to blue lagoon, which is another 40 minutes further.
