Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Pick up from your hotel or airport between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM (subject to hotel location, time may vary). Depart Nairobi and drive through the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara. Check-in at Enchoro Wildlife Camp for lunch. At 4:00 PM, enjoy your first game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Accommodation: Enchoro Wildlife  Camp
Meals & drinks: Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Enjoy an early breakfast at the camp. Head out for a full day of game drives in search of the Big Five and other wildlife. The Mara is renowned for its diverse wildlife including giraffes, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and the Great Migration (July-October). Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Have an African breakfast at the camp followed by an optional one-hour cultural tour with the locals. Depart Masai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park via Narok-Mau Road. Enjoy a hot lunch en route. Arrive in Nakuru and check in at Buraha Zenoni Hotel and Resort for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, known for its prolific bird-life including flamingos and its rhino sanctuary. Enjoy lunch and then drive to Lake Naivasha. Optionally, take a boat ride or visit Crescent Island (additional cost) to see hippos and fish eagles. Check in at Leisure Apex Resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast at the resort. Take a guided drive through Hell’s Gate National Park, noted for its dramatic landscapes, water-gouged gorges, and volcanic formations. The park allows walking and cycling among wildlife. Have a hot or picnic lunch before driving back to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon and be transferred to the airport or Nairobi hotel.

Just went for 8 day safari with James and Wild Portraits Safaris...it was spot o (Read More)n perfect. Reasons 1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp. 2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality. 3. James is very knowledgeable. 4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious. 5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details. 6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it. 7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.
