Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati - Shillong (98 Kms, 2.5 hours)

Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station. Meet your travel accomplice on arrival, who will take you to Shillong. On the way, visit the stunning man-made store, Umiam Lake (Borapani). We will be visiting the Golf Links, Cathedral Church, Don Bosco Monument, Botanical Garden, Lady Hydari Park, and boating on Ward’s Lake. Evening have a leisure time in Police Bazaar. Overnight stay at Ladybird Hotel, Shillong.

After a good heavy breakfast, travel to Dawki island found within the Umangot River. Do different experience activities (on your own) like Boating, Kayaking, Sculling, Zip lining, etc on this island. Visit Mawlynlong which is the cleanest town in Asia. Visit the Double Decker Bridge, Balancing Rock and stay overnight in Mawlynlong Riwar Cottage.

Savor a delectable morning meal and checkout from the hotel. Now, you will be moving towards Jowai to visit the Krangsuri Falls & Phe Phe Falls on the way. After that you’ll head to Cherrapunji – the lace that ranks second to Mawsynram when it comes to the world’s wettest place. On the way visit the Garden of caves. From here visit caves such as Mawsmai Cave and Arwah Cave and then check into La Kupaar Inn.

Post breakfast start your journey towards Tyrna Village/Nongriatt Village by 9 AM. Start your Trekk Down towards Double Decker Root Bridge & Rainbow Falls. (3 hours hiking). Cherrapunji sightseeing further takes you to Wah-Kaba Falls and then to Arwah Caves, Nohkalikai or Seven Sisters Falls,Dainthlen Falls, Wei Sawdong Falls. Overnight stay at La Kupaar Inn.

Check-out of the hotel and get ready to transfer back to Guwahati. On the way visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak. Please keep the time into consideration and leave for the Airport. We wish you a happy and memorable journey ahead.

the driver as best. He had accompanied very ell. He knew his limits and adjusted (Read More) very ell to our likes and changes in the plans. Very Supportive staffs from hill dheko.
The hospitality at La Castle hotel as bad. The manager Mr. Sharma's attitude wa (Read More)s not at all approachable. The way he spoke changed entirely once we refused to have dinner from the hotel. and even the rooms smelt bad. first day we were allotted good room which was actually promised. The second day the room as cramped and also the both the days the washroom stink a lot and on the second day the washroom as very small. And the worst part was they charged us for the food in the morning although it was said that it would be complimentary. just 1 plate extra, he charged us. Overall at La Castle , we were disappointed. Please dont here after provide La Castle as option.

Trip has been planeed well.. itinerary has also been chosen in a well organised (Read More)manner. The trip coordinator like mina ji ans rajendra balmiki were so cooperative and they have taken care all the things in very well manner. Delighted to have a trip with them..
1 resort 100waterfall camp was not so good and the food served there was worst a (Read More)nd service was also pathetically bad.. so avoid booking this property.. otherwise all are good and polo tower was excellent. Smokey mae fi was also good.. So travelleasy chosen the best for us. And we are looking forward to book with them again for our arunachal trip
