Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Srinagar and Local Sightseeing

Arrival at Srinagar Airport.
Transfer to the hotel and prepare for the city tour.
Visit the Shankaracharya Temple, situated on the highest hill of Srinagar, and the famous Mughal Gardens: Chashme Shahi, Nishat, and Shalimar. These gardens were the Mughal Emperors' concept of paradise and are popular picnic spots today.
Also visit the handicraft shop where you can purchase local handcrafted items such as shawls, jackets, bed covers, papier-mâché, carpets, and much more.
In the evening, take a leisurely stroll alongside Dal Lake and explore the local markets.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Srinagar to Sonamarg and Back

Leave for Sonamarg in the morning. Also known as the 'Meadow of Gold,' Sonamarg is the last stop in the Kashmir district.
From here, the territory of Ladakh begins. Situated at an altitude of 2,743 meters above sea level, the fast-flowing Sindh River is popular for trout and masher fishing in the summer.
You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in the snow and ice (at your own expense).
Return to Srinagar in the evening.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 3 Srinagar to Pahalgham and Back

Early in the morning, depart for Pahalgam.
Also known as the 'Valley of Shepherds', Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from the Lidder River and Sheeshnag Lake.
En route, visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built by King Awantivarman.
Arrival at Pahalgam.
Enjoy the natural beauty or take a walk to Baisaran, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam. Baisaran is a small village set in a pine and fir forest.
In the evening, return to the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 4 Srinagar to Gulmarg and Back

In the morning, have breakfast and drive to Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers. The route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is fascinating.
Gulmarg is famous worldwide for skiing and snowboarding. You can try out these sports at your own cost.
Return to Srinagar in the evening.
Enjoy a comfortable night stay at a houseboat.

Day 5 Departure from Srinagar

After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport to board your flight.
