Day 1 Arrival in Arusha

Day 2 Arusha to Katavi National Park

After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your Arusha hotel and transferred to Arusha Airport for a shared charter flight to Katavi National Park. These flights operate on Mondays and Thursdays each week.
Upon arrival in Katavi, our driver-guide will greet you and transfer you to Katavi Camp for check-in and lunch.
In the afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive through the park, exploring its diverse landscapes and wildlife.
As the day comes to an end, return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 Full-Day Game Drive in Katavi National Park

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at Katavi Camp.
After breakfast, set out for an extensive morning game drive in Katavi National Park.
Return to the camp for brunch or an early lunch. You'll have some free time in the afternoon, and you can choose to relax by the swimming pool or explore the surroundings at your leisure.
In the late afternoon or early evening, embark on another game drive, offering you more opportunities to observe the park's incredible wildlife.
As the sun begins to set, enjoy a delightful sundowner experience in the park.
Finally, return to the camp for dinner and another comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4 Full-Day Safari and Cultural Exploration

Have breakfast at Katavi Camp.
Embark on a full-day game drive in Katavi National Park, bringing along a packed lunch to stay energized.
In the late afternoon, visit the historically significant Kabora-Lyonga Slave Route and the ancient Tamarind Tree, both essential elements of local culture and heritage.
Return to the camp for dinner at Katavi Camp and overnight stay.

Day 5 Departure from Katavi

Have breakfast at Katavi Camp.
Then, go on a game drive towards Katavi Airstrip.
Board a shared chartered flight to Arusha Airport.
As you land at Arusha Airport, your safari comes to an end, and you say goodbye to the captivating Katavi wilderness.
