Day 1 Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Pick up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi and depart for the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with stops for photography along the way. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and some relaxation before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Explore the vast savannahs in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, cheetahs, and other wildlife that make the Mara one of Africa's premier safari destinations. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meals: Lunch & Dinner

After breakfast, depart for an extensive morning-to-afternoon game drive through the reserve. Explore different sectors of the Mara while searching for the Big Five and a variety of plains game. Depending on the season, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebras associated with the Great Migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve before continuing your wildlife viewing experience. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its rhino conservation program and diverse birdlife. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Look out for both black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species around the lake. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Enjoy breakfast before departing for Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, take a scenic boat ride across the lake, offering excellent opportunities to spot hippos and a variety of bird species. Continue with a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, where you can walk among zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, antelopes, and other herbivores in a unique, predator-free environment. After the excursion, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

All arrangements including hotel, game drives, food arrangements, personalised s (Read More)ervices by İmara Destinations was excellent We started our trip from New Delhi to Nairobi via Mumbai by Indigo flight. Dennis was there to welcome us at the airport early in the morning. We started off to Samburu, had lunch on the way had a relaxing evening at the resort. We had a wonderful game drive next day at the samburu national reserve, saw a leopard, zebra, giraffe, ostrich, etc from close quarters. We went to ol Pajeto conservancy, fed blind rhino, saw chimpanzees and other animals including two horned rhinos, proceeded to Nakuru saw pelicans, flamingos etc there, Masai Mara we stayed for three nights and had two game drives. Could see lots of lions, cheetah with its prey as well as a pregnant cheetah, zebras, giraffes etc. we also saw ostriches and other animals and birds there. We then went to Naivasha had a boat ride with walk and see crocodiles and hippos and crescent island visit walked with zebras, impalas and wildebeest but couldn’t see giraffe there. Due to floods last year many parts of crescent island got submerged so could only see part of the island. Our last destination was Amboseli park with game drive there. Overall it was a highly satisfying and interesting experience. İmara Destinations did a very good job of taking us to the exact spots where animals would be seen uninterrupted. Well done İmara Destinations. Thanks to Dennis and Murray for it

Just went for 8 day safari with James and Wild Portraits Safaris...it was spot o (Read More)n perfect. Reasons 1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp. 2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality. 3. James is very knowledgeable. 4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious. 5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details. 6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it. 7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.
