Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival and Check in at Gangtok Hotel
- On arrival, meet our representative and pick up from NJP Siliguri Railway Station.
- Proceed to Gangtok.
- Upon arrival in Gangtok, check in at a hotel located near Mall Road.
- Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, offers a blend of tranquility and adventure.
- It is known for its monasteries, mystic rituals, and festivals, situated at an altitude of 1,670 meters (5,480 feet).
- Gangtok is one of the most beautiful towns in India, featuring a variety of rhododendrons, orchids, and butterflies.
- Evening free to explore M.G. Road (Mall) or the local shopping center.
- Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 2 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Full Day)
- Morning breakfast at the hotel
- Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, approximately 40 kilometers and a 2-hour drive along the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, home to the red panda and the blood pheasant, with Rhododendron and other alpine trees
- Situated at an elevation of 3,753 meters (12,310 feet)
- The lake is oval-shaped and nearly 50 feet deep
- Generally covered in snow for most of the year
- This lake is home to Brahminy ducks and many migratory birds
- Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir, known to be a very holy site for all
- Nathu La Pass to the Republic of China is nearly 20 kilometers away and is an optional tour
- Return to Gangtok
- Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or the local shopping center
- Overnight stay in Gangtok
- Suggestion Note:
- Nathu La Pass is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays for tourists.
- Visit to Nathu La Pass is subject to the availability of the In Line Permit (ILP).
- The In Line Permit (ILP) will be arranged by our executive for an additional charge; for this, you will need to provide a copy of your ID proof and a passport-sized photograph.
Day 3 Transfer to Darjeeling
- After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a journey to Darjeeling.
- The road is scenic and passes through Gyalshing and Jorethang.
- The transfer to Darjeeling covers nearly 135 kilometers and takes approximately 3 to 3.5 hours.
- Darjeeling is situated at an altitude of 2,123 meters (7,000 feet).
- It is a land of breathtaking beauty, featuring sloping tea gardens and spectacular views of Mount Everest, earning it the title "Queen of the Hills."
- Darjeeling is home to many international schools and several internationally renowned sites, including:
- Himalayan Mountaineering Institute
- Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park
- Darjeeling Himalayan Railway
- It is also home to the famous World Heritage train, the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR).
- Check into the hotel.
- Evening free for leisure activities.
- Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 4 Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
- Early morning drive at around 3:45 AM to an elevation of 8,000 feet (2,440 meters) through primitive forests of oak and magnolia to Tiger Hill to view the sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather).
- On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery, the Peace Memorial, and Batasia Loop.
- Return to the hotel for breakfast.
- After breakfast, rest for half an hour.
- Next round of sightseeing includes:
- Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park
- Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday)
- Ropeway
- Tensing Gumpo Rock
- Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (closed on Sunday)

- After breakfast, transfer to:

Our trip started from Bagdogra airport to Gangtok to Pelling & Darjeeling. Overa (Read More)ll trip arrangement was done by Anuradha madam and was neatly done. She was in touch with us all the day through out our trip to solve our issues, whatsoever without hesitation 🙏Overall service of Krishna travels being very good, to enjoy the trip.
Though accommodation in Gangtok & Pelling were excellently arranged , the same i (Read More)n Darjeeling could have been bettered by providing a good Hotel stay. Alternate arrangement of destination change could have been mafe on account of cancelled trip to Nathulapas due to bad weather condition.
