Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi - lake Nakuru

Picked up then head for Naivasha arriving in the afternoon in time for lunch. You will then have the activities for the day: Boat ride in Lake Naivasha followed by a walking safari in the animal sanctuary. Drive to Lake Nakuru. Arrive in time for relaxation at the hotel, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner. Overnight stay will be at your lodge/camp.

Breakfast then head out for an early morning game drives in Lake Nakuru National Park; home to hundreds of rhinos both black and white, and other wildlife. You will later drive to Masai Mara and arrive in time for lunch and then have time to relax from the drive. You will later enjoy an evening game drive at the mara and return to lodge/camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Today's itinerary is flexible and you can discuss with your guide and plan for the day’s schedule. You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full-day game drives with a picnic lunch. Also, you'll have better chances to view wildlife all day and return back to the lodge/camp late in the afternoon. You can enjoy Balloon Safari and Masai Village (Optional).

Depending on your flight details you will organize with your guide on your departure from Masai Mara. You will be transferred to your Nairobi Location or to the airport for your homebound flight.

Just went for 8 day safari with James and Wild Portraits Safaris...it was spot o (Read More)n perfect. Reasons 1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp. 2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality. 3. James is very knowledgeable. 4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious. 5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details. 6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it. 7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.

Janet was very thorough with our itenary and helped us throughout and Bonnie knew all the best spots on all of our game drives.
