Stunned by the previous day’s spotting of the migration, today you get another chance to view the beautiful wildlife spectacle. The Ndutu region is a part of the glorious Serengeti National Park as well as the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA). You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full day game drives around 9:00 AM with packed lunch and return back to the lodge late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Today you will be following the migration depending on its location. During game drives at the right season between December and April, you will be able to see the fertile plains turn into calving grounds and nursery for the great migration. This season attracts hordes of predators preying on vulnerable young wildebeest. The action-packed game drive will end late in the evening around 5PM. You will now head towards your choice of accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits you. Ensure you get some good rest and recharge yourself for another eventful day.

Early morning after breakfast at your accommodation, you will drive straight to Ngorongoro conservation area whereby you stop at the view point of Ngorongoro crater before you descend down the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera forming a spectacular bowl of about 265 square kilometres, with sides up to 600 metres deep and is home to approximately 30,000 mammals. The crater offers a breathtakingly beautiful scenery and is the best place in East Africa to see the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion and rarely leopard). Any safari in northern Tanzania should ideally include a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater offers excellent birding, with over 500 species. You will have packed picnic lunch boxes with you and after having lunch at the picnic site, you will proceed with game drive until the late afternoon where you will ascend the crater and drive straight to your lodgings in Karatu for an overnight stay at karatu villa 

Early morning after breakfast you will drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park which is also known as the home of Tree Climbing Lions and birds’ paradise. More than 500 species are present in Lake Manyara, and even for a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these species in a single day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Other animals that can be found here are giraffes, Zebras, hyenas, Buffalo, Hippo, elephants and wildebeests. Lunch will be served inside the park and after further exploration of the park you will return to Arusha.
